what happens when the term of mariner gets over ?

if a marine is assigned a secret mission but his term gets over before the mission would he be allowed to return home?

It depends on the mission. One of the first things checked when processing an individual for deployment is to see if he/she has enough time left to complete the deployment.

No...he would have to complete the mission first.
