We can call it a future without welfare, medical, WIC, public education, and tolerance for "illegal aliens".
Make it more beneficial for them to try the legal approach or just stay "HOME".

I went on a tour of the UN headquarters in New York yesterday, and the guide said the building was not considered US territory, and that we left the country when we entered the grounds of the building. But I also noticed that when I bought a key ring in the gift shop I payed New York sales tax. Given that the gift shop is in the UN building, which is not part of the United States, let alone New York, why does New York get to collect sales tax on items sold there?

I think it would be alright if............no citizenship was attached or advantage to citizenship, can only do jobs under $25,000 a year, and I assigned duration of stay no longer than 1-2years per individual!.........NOw this is just for a Guest worker program......NOT I repeat NOT for "LEGAL" immigration!

If the two men running for President of the United States came out and said that they were any other religion besides Christian, then would you vote for either one? If one was a democratic Buddist and the other was a republican Muslim. Do you feel that Religion should play a role in politics. And what if they had all the same beliefs in the political system they just didn't worship the same god? Like if they were pro or Anti abortion. Also with that being said then how easy is it to just tell people that you are a Christian just to get votes?

Hello, im getting out the navy pretty soon and id like to get a govt. job. I pretty much know how to use Microsoft word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, and access and I can type pretty good. Does anyone know of any govt jobs where they are looking for people who can do data processing/clerical work? Or does anyone else have a govt job? Where did you find yours?

As a whole, our country dedicates itself to bettering the children of other countries without taking time to take care of our own. Are we never going to have enough compunction to realize that we have children abused, killed, molested, sick, impoverished, living on the streets, in cardboard boxes, cars, and under bridges? That are children, our future, is being neglected beyond the point of no return? Do we not owe it to the children HERE to be responsible and caring, and lif them up from their circumstances to a higher place of living and learning with love? Will this country be like the ones we help, and ignore their own? How can we justify mass support for children of other countries while we ignore our own?

Everyone crying about the "lies" that led us to war in Iraq, meaning no WMD found, needs to listen carefully!!! It was reported on Friday that WMD, and biological weapons HAVE BEEN FOUND!!! the so-called lie that took us to war, is not a lie after all. Of course, now everyone that has seen this evidence of the truth claims that these weapons are old weapons, but the age of the weapons was not a question. The existence of these weapons has been the issue, and now that they have been discovered, I suggest the whiners find a new cheese to nibble on!

When my husband went to Iraq, I found myself helpless around so many responsabilities. The double workload was very frustating. Not once the FRG contacted me or even organize a meeting, to provide help. Now that my husband is back (TYLord) they are constantly mention in activities to raise money and in thank you for all their help. The system doesn't work, How can it be improve?

to know this, yes, but it's real and things like this have been happening since damn near the beggining of time. Why is this man the most powerful president in history? I mean, he has been blamed for everything from natural disasters to terrorist attacks, to gas prices skyrocketing, social security going broke! He must have been the mastermind behind ever president we have ever had since he was born to be responsible for all of these things!! Perhaps it is time that American citizens stop blaming our President for every thing, and look at how the government is really run!! Ask your representatives in Congress and the House about THEIR accountability as well! I'm not a Republican, nor am I a Democrat, Not a Liberal, nor a Conservative, I AM AN INDEPENDENT, and I hold all representation accountable for their actions! I know that our president alone does NOT run this country, and that the other representatives in offices voted in by us at the polls are NOT holding up to their responsibilities. If you want REAL change, then vote those in power out and start with some one new. Send a message!

Seriously, everyone I talk to is angry. The Senate bill is too lax, and the House is now planning to "hold hearings." Why? They know what the citizens believe already: that illegals must stop eating up our tax and healthcare dollars and return to their home countries.
