The New York Times is exposing secret ways the U.S. government is combating terrorists. The Times is endangering innocent lives, and helping the terrorists in their goal to kill Americans.

The U.S. has laws on the books to punish Americans who give aid and comfort to our enemies during war time.

What should happen to the New York Times? Boycott? A boycott of their advertisers?

Are they stupid or naive? They are in favor of killing babies in utero, but against killing convicted murderers. They are in favor of rewarding people on welfare with endless benefits, but against individuals who start businesses and hire workers by slamming them with endless taxes. They bemoan the immorality of our society, then they do everything they can to remove God and morality from everyday life and hold up single parent homes as being just as good as two-parent homes. The tax and tax and tax individuals who work hard to support their families and just hand that money over to people that sit on their butts doing nothing. And then after you die, they take HALF of everything that you worked hard to acquire, rather than allow it to go to your family. A death tax on earnings that you'd ALREADY paid exorbitant taxes on your whole life?

How can they be 100% back-asswards wrong about everything? It's no wonder that intelligent people fight to keep them out of office!

Only he has it completely wrong. We're playing the part of the Soviets and the Iraqis are the Hungarians.

Hungary at first welcomed the Soviets as liberators from the Nazis (Baathists?).
But the insurgency quickly started when it was immediately clear the Soviets were there to stay.

That is why Murtha, Feingold, Kerry and others insist we MUST make it clear we're not there to stay permanently by setting clear, unequivical deadlines for departure.

Otherwise, they will be sure to think we're there for the oil. Couldn't be that, not the oil, could it war supporters?

The UN directed that Israel would have land and that Palestinians would have land. Israel accepted the agreement, the Arab world did not. To me, two states could have begun at the same time.

Why is it o.k. for the news and media to show the bodies of foreign soldiers but not the bodies of U.S. soldiers?

It is from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson written to a group of baptists worried that the government would prevent them from practicing their religion several years after the first amendment was adopted.

This is an expression of Jefferson's personal opinion. Jefferson did not take part in the forming of the constitution or the bill of rights as he was out of the country at that time.

The phrase was first used when Supreme court justices explained their ruling that students attending a catholic school could not be excluded from a publiclly funded busing system that transported students to local private schools.

Ironically, the phrase has repeatedly been used to justify excluding religious practice from the public arena in the last 30 years.

Israel only got the "occupied" territories after the 6-day war. Before that, the Palestinians could have started their own country in that area.

I found a bunch of documents in the weeds along the road the other day and I think I found a greencard. I just want to know what to do with it. I don't want to throw it away because someone may go through my trash and everyone knows the problems people are having with stolen identities. What should I do?

You say "don't abort." But when you vote, you don't vote for those who would support the government programs to aid people who have unplanned pregnancies. You say "adoption's a choice," yet many kids go unadopted. Foster programs all over the US are a mess. You say "be responsible for your choices" but then complain when people use government programs and vote for those that would end them. You say "prevent pregnancies" well, sometimes they happen anyway. What do you suggest for those teenage moms, whose parents kicked them out of the house, whose boyfriends don't want anything to do with them? Don't lecture me either. I'm asking for a possible solution here. The problem is very real and we have to offer these teens real solutions.

I'm not a pregnant teen. I'm a mother of two preschoolers.

The Defeaticrats' "New Direction for America" foresees a future for this country as a kind of Lesser France. That would be problematic enough: The dependency culture favored by the Dems has mired much of Europe in permanent double-digit unemployment, a moribund economy and unsustainable social programs. Presumably, Nancy Pelosi and Co. would respond by saying that their pledge to "give America a raise" -- i.e., increase the minimum wage -- shows that their party is in tune with real people's real needs rather than a lot of foreign adventuring that's got nothing to do with how real people really lead their really real lives. Sorry, it doesn't work like that. Not even the Democrats can redeploy from the whole planet

Why muslims buy (made in usa & made in israel )products and give our money to them to kill us with it?
Why muslim countries dont stop selling OIL to usa&israel, that they use to fuel their warplanes and tanks to kill us with?
I think if more than 1bilion Muslim stoped buying anything from usa and stop taking any aid from them, and in the same time stoped selling them our OIL,then their economy will suffer& only then they will stop their agression against Muslims and give us back our lands & rights .
And in the same time their is a lot of other alternatives for us to buy our needs from (like china , india,,,,,etc) .
but they dont have alternatives for OUR oil,and without it ,their economy wont run!

For security reasons the exact number of service members is classified. I spent 18 months working in Iraq for the company charged with delivering all of the food for the troops (army, navy, air force & marines) and civilians. Part of my responsibilities was computing the food requirement for the men and women on the fround. I would be interested in your estimation of the actual number of US service members we supported on the ground in Iraq. By the way, I/we had a fairly accurate count of civilian works we feed since they were billed to a separate account. And no, I can't disclose the the number of troops we feed while I was there.

Well, it wasn't in a bar it was outside in the parking lot. He was cussing out someone for parking too close to his vehicle. Then he hit the guy in the face but the man who got hit had some very mean friends. They were playing horse shoes and upon observing their buddy getting hit they ran over and beat the guy half to death. ( He is still in the hospital) The group is the bikers called the Vigilantes and for the most part they keep to themselves and are nice people. I believe this man brought it on himself and should have been beat. When the police arrived I said "I didn't see anything. Did I do right?
