Why isn't the NRA upset about the police/army dis-arming people during Katrina evacuation?

This seems to me, unlike the many arguments for guns guns and more guns, to be a legitimate 2nd Ammendment issue.

But the NRA seems much more concerned with concealed carry laws, "self-defense" and gun ownership deter burglaries... all the things we know, through extensive research to be non-issues in regard to the Constitution.

But what happen in New Orleans is a serious violation of the Constitution, I fear, yet again it is simple hypocricy that the Constitution applies to US not to Them people.

The greater good or lesser evil??

If a rouge country has a WMD but the capabilities of that WMD are limited and could kill a max of 2000 people. Wouldn't it make more sense to spend more money on technology to dectect and render the WMD inert rather that invade and entire country killing many more and spending a hell of alot more. Is there some greater good behind these actions?? Are the leaders that make these kinds of desisions looking out for the greater good of the world as a whole? If so why not just tell the people the truth?? ............. If killing a few thousand people could save millions. I can understand that kind of logic but is that really the case??................. Still no WMD's found yet?? Does Iran really have the capability or does the world interest need another "secure" Oil supply?

If it can be agreed across all political lines that?

the Democrats have no real plan for America, but that the Republicans do, is the Republican plan a good plan?

I would say the Republican plan is not good for America. What options do we have? I think I need to give MORE money to 'third' pary candidates for 08.

He was serving in the US Army. She was born in Munich. She wants to know were she has to contact to get copies of her birth certificate.

Okay now how do i find a "Good Lawyer" to replace the one that dropped my case(Robert K)?

After 2 months my lawyer dropped my case because the buisness that hit me and ran didnt have any insurance. Now i live in Arlington it's right between Dallas and Fort Worth. I need a Lawyer that will take my case and treat as if it was their car, their job, their 4 month old baby that got the window mashed in on her in the back seat, Someone that will call me by my name rather than my case number. Since this last lawyer i've lost trust in lawyers (i waited 2 months havent even recieved damages for my totaled car and only to find that they dropped my case)The only way i will hire another one is if i can find a good one. KNnow any good lawyers that all say they are good so how will i know they are good? I dont want to go thru this stuff again!!!!!!!!

Do I make them fix my property to prove a point or just be the bigger person?

I have a piece of my property that wasn't fenced in and my neighbor knew it from day one and when he put his fence in he just hooked onto mine making my property look like his,, Its not a real big piece then he started riding a dirt bike and putting ruts in it, I didn't like it but from where my house is the dust etc didn't make it to me. Then my dad moved in and because of the layout he had to move close to the fence the guy threw a fit and started riding real close on purpose tearing ruts. My dad finally said enough backed him up on his own property, they put a priviacy fence up leaving 3 to 4 ft openings at the bottom I'm sure so the dust would still get dad from a distance. They said they would fix it but its beenabout 3 weeks and there obviously not gonna. My lawyer said he would write them a letter, but would it be worth it, if they got mad and started being jerks (throwing garbage etc). They just think they can bully everyone here do i prove them wrong? or just turn the (cheek

do city muncipal public works guys, the guys who fix the streets, sidewalks etc right, do they need to go thro

ugh any special training? How do they determine when its time to pave a street with asphalt? Why do some muncipal governments contract out services like street sweeping etc?

What are some of the different duties muncipal public works guys do during the day?
