With the seperation of church and state this seems like a mistake on the republican party. All these moral debates seem pretty insignoficant to the big picture. While not tryhing to judge.... I cant help to see a pattern. The veiws of our leaders seem out of whack with the seperation of church and state. To much irony and coiincendences give serious doubt a bout the motives of President Bush claiming to be a man of god?? Why is the United States trying to bring demorcacy to the rest of the world when the US. is a republic?? Politics is so confusing... I think they make it that way on pourpose to keep us regular folks in the dark.

I came to the US as a political refugee in 1993. During a temporary visit abroad, I married, and then got an SB-1 Returning Resident visa. Now I am on active duty in the Navy. I would like to know whether there is a faster way for my spouse to come to the United States than by filing I-130. At this time, I am not a US citizen.

of "mass destruction" as they call it, and they tell them to stop doing things with weapons like they are doing to Iran and North Korea, when im pretty sure the u.s.a has weapons. Why do they feel they are the only ones who can do or have any kind of deadly weapon?

I plan on reenlisting and one of the bonuses is extra Gi Bill money or 20,000 to pay student loans. the problem with the student laons is that they only pay about 500 to 600 a year, which seems hardly worth the effort of doing the paperwork. .

I keep hearing that is all they want, and they are willing to give up their citizenship in Mexico and all of their opportunities to own land, or vote in Mexico ever again.
How many illegals are willing to do that?

Please give examples.

The hateful, mean-spirited attitude of many people here is very frustrating.

Example: Calling Bush a stupid monkey, instead of saying a certain policy is bad.

Which side is worse? PLEASE GIVE EXAMPLES!

Do you support instant runoff elections?
Instant Runoff Voting is a system that guarantees the winning candidate has a majority of the votes (instead of a plurality) and eliminates the "wasted vote syndrome" caused by third party candidates. It allows voters to rank some or all of the candidates by preference on a single ballot (first, second, third choice, etc.), so it can simulate an "instant" runoff election if no candidate has a majority of the votes.

If anyone receives a majority of the first choice votes, that candidate is elected. If not, the last place candidate is defeated, just as in a runoff election, and all ballots are counted again. This time each ballot cast for the defeated candidate counts for the next choice candidate listed on the ballot. The process of eliminating the last place candidate and recounting the ballots continues until one candidate receives a majority of the vote.

Mexicans vote for their government officals just like Americans. And, illegals vote in America, and in Mexico. Mexico has a booming economy, and industry has plenty of jobs for these people. So, please tell me what they are really doing here besides stealing from the real immigrants, and Americans. And, believe me Mexico's government is no less corrupt than America's.

Seems that's the direction everything is going. Prevailent socialized healthcare that removes all competition...people hating the rich...so may people relying on government assistance... more and more government control--soon to be militant control(possible going unnoticed)... what's next? Can't we see that this is where our current democratic politics are headed? Can't we also see that communism causes oppression? Democracy is dangerous.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasure. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship…” -Alexander Tyler
