Seems that's the direction everything is going. Prevailent socialized healthcare that removes all competition...people hating the rich...so may people relying on government assistance... more and more government control--soon to be militant control(possible going unnoticed)... what's next? Can't we see that this is where our current democratic politics are headed? Can't we also see that communism causes oppression? Democracy is dangerous.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasure. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship…” -Alexander Tyler

Let's stick with a Republic.

Yeah I know, the quote is much debated as to who said it, but most people point to Alexader Tyler. Only two sources pointed to Alexis de Toqueville that I could find...I looked into that. Whtever condition he was in when he said it, it seems pretty true to me...

it's not the president's fault. it's the amercian people's fault... all the liberalism and the democrats' determination to tax the rich and give hand outs to the poor. See the problem with that is there's no incentive for people to work hard and become productive.

Your quote is from Alexis de Tocqueville, who was a member of the French Aristocracy and favored monarchy over democracy. He came to America shortly after the French Revolution to study democracy up close and personal. He didn't like it much, but why would he? He had it pretty good under the French monarchical system. At least understand what it is you're ranting about.

I first want to thank you. That made my Day!
I wanted to comment, that you left something out. Two words '"Politically Correct"' The Democrat's use to take from my freedom. Freedom of Speech! They're secretly sneaking them in stronger and stronger. Making my vocabulary smaller and smaller.
So the answer is soon real soon..

Facism in it's basic form is here now and gaining strength everday. Voting hurry's this process along. I don't think it can be turned back.

The government is too happy with it's tyranny.

Communist, probably never.

Fascist, well... as Huey Long said when asked if the U.S. could ever turn fascist: "If it does, it'll look like 100% Americanism."
