I plan on reenlisting and one of the bonuses is extra Gi Bill money or 20,000 to pay student loans. the problem with the student laons is that they only pay about 500 to 600 a year, which seems hardly worth the effort of doing the paperwork. .

I know what it is used for and how to use it, I am currently using it. Just want to know if it can go past a bachelors cause if not, there is no use in getting it. may as well get the darn SLRP which for 500 a year seems stupid, doesn't even cover my term

Yes, you can use it for any education or training at an approved institution. I'm getting my MBA right now and the GI Bill is helping pay for it.

The GI Bill is useable for any education expense from what I understand, provided you are a full-time or part-time student. My wife went through the GI Bill process a few years ago but that was before the recent additions and supplements with the increase. Contact a local VA office and ask them for some advice and guidance, the MGIB is a VA run program so DoD will not have all the information you'd like. Also contact your local education center, many who work there have MGIB informaiton and its where you're going to have to request the additional MGIB input.
