Australia and New Zealand have better wages for people in low income bracket then the USA. Also, they have free health care available and a very good assistance for jobless. People who lose their jobs there, don't have to live in bad neighborhoods or shelters for homeless. Instead they get a very decent assistance from the government to afford a decent place to stay and have something to eat until they find a job.
In the USA the economy is very powerful but it's not the best place in the world for folks with no money or who are in the lowest income bracket.

Any country where one is born or citizen, as long as fundamental rights are respected there.

Then, which country is better is a matter of point of view. Anyway you look at it, one need to pay for his/her cost of living - either directly, or through taxes.

Some countries cover health insurance: guess what? in those countries, taxes are usually higher. Some countries have high real estate costs (rentals and purchase cost): guess what? while prices go up, the cost of money goes down... usually, all is in balance, and if you factor in everything, you will see that living in a country or in another is really a matter of personal choice or belonging.

You will find that your average Joe is happy in any country mentioned here - or miserable, depending how his life pans out.

That would all depend on what you call easy and who you are calling average.

I kinda like this country. My employer allows me to work 40-50 hours a week and he pays me pretty well. Benefits could be a little better but then they could be worse.

I suppose you could class me as average. I'm average when it comes to number of kids. A little below middle class as far as income goes. A little above average when it come to the size of house I live in. Way below average when it come to money I owe.

But then I've always said GOD looks out for fools and sailors and I qualified on both counts. I pray like it all depends on GOD I work like it all depends on me. Together we can accomplish anything. I'm not going to complain where I am. If I'm not where I should be I know who came up short.

This is the second time I've read 'rich' into your comments. Compared to Warren Buffett or Bill Gates I'm poor. Compared to someone who is homeless I'm rich. Rich and poor are just relative terms.
