Of course! Europe need to enlarge his market and to invest in countries with high potential of economical increase, like Romania.
In the same time, a real question can be: What Romania will win by becoming a EU country?

Romania and Bulgaria have already been accepted to the European Union and will become member countries on Jan 1, 2007.

sure, it will. currently, the most probable date for the joining the eu is January 1st, 2008. membership in the eu will give many new prospects for romanians. i hope, they'll use them well! and most important: they shouldn't loose their identity, joining the european melting pot...
