My oppinion is that even if Iran is not seeking weapons, they are still developing scientists sympathetic to extremist Islam & willing to develop weapons for terrorists later.

In the shorter term though, Iran is working toward weapons because they want to be able to dictate terms to Israel & the US as the dominant power in the middle east, and they are lying to thier own population about it. Their government believes the same things as al Quaeda & has been responsible for attacking us in the past. We are currently in a war against not just al Queada, but all militant extremist Islam everywhere, and we just took out in Saddam the force that kept Iran in check from being the dominant force in radical militant Islam. We will go to war there & destroy the theocratic goverment, any significant military power, & and all nuclear capabilities. We'll do it because changing Iran is in teh interest of the US regardless of nuclear weapons, but nuclear weapons make it a priority.

It looks like Iran's got something coming. I don't know if Iran's a country I would trust with nuclear weapons. Nonetheless, N.Korea's no better. However, I think Iran's got alterior motives, frankly I don't blame them for wanting to protect and fight for what they believe.

I find it interesting that the US can do whatever it wants with nuclear weapons and power, but everyone else has to get permission from the US to do anything... It's not right.

I am going to sound like a Dale Gribble conspiracy theory nut, but I think that the US is just priming its citizens for another war. Gives another reason to put on UN sanctions on the country before we go over there and bomb the crap outta them just like we have with Iraq.

Most people who are shot are shot by their own guns. Perhaps the US should let them build it up.

Made me smile this month when the US basically said, "Go ahead, N Korea ... launch ... let's see how far that'll get ya!"
