Because he's in bed with Vicente Fox, the corporations need cheap labor and Fox wants to get rid of his poor and uneducated no assets people, he even encourages them to leave. The Mexican government dose not want to fix or care for their people if you have no assets they don't want you. To be a citizen in Mexico you have to have money before they let you in, you cannot come in poor. Bush is selling us out.

Now , what do you think would happen to this economy, if he did sent every alien back, who would do the jobs that the people in the USA don't want to do, and if they did do them for what the aliens are being paid , the American worker would only half a-- do the job, and complain the whole time they were doing it.A least they are trying to do better for themselves instead of living off the state til the (" right" ) job came around like most complaining American, or living with there parents and having them foot there bills while the lazy Americans just lays around and does nothing but complain. Yes what would we do if they all did leave??????? Thank God Bush can think !!,and yes I do understand and see the problem with illegal aliens , but there is a way of straighting this out with out everyone going redneck about. After all we all descended from someone that was alien at one time , so get a grip. This will be solved in time hopefully without blood shed , like I'm sure a lot of you would just love to see.And Bush is not a wuss, he's kept your butt safe even though most of you have complained about that too, a wuss would have backed down and done what you.... wanted. No he's not a wuss, you are. If you don't like how the country is being run,MOVE to another one! PLEASE!!!!!!!

Firstly, Bush is a little confused. He says "We hear claims that immigrants are somehow bad for the economy, even though this economy could not function without them." in January 2006. He says "We can all learn from the strength, solidarity, and values of Latinos. Immigration is not a problem to be solved, it is the sign of a successful nation." in June of 2006. As you can see, this seems to go against the idea of Bush being a wuss. In fact, this actually points out that Bush is a waffler. Sounds like Kerry, no? Anyway, the new wall? More troops on the border? Does this sound like the text of the speeches? Not really. In my opinion, Bush isn't being a wuss. He's being a complete imbecile. He has no concept of the fact that people remember things he's said. He doesn't know what to do. He has claimed things that go against his very being. He has nothing better to do than to waffle and flip-flop sides.

Bucky R, I LOVE THAT PIC!! I also love your posts and I can tell you are on the right side of the issue.
Bush is a typical useless and lying politician. So are McCain and Kennedy. You know what they all have in common? None of them gives a damn about the middle class! Do you think Bush has ever been poor? The Texas oil man....no way. He doesn't know what it is like to be without. I believe personally that the reason he is so far up Fox's *** is because of that plan that Mexico, the U.S. and Canada signed to merge the three countries. I saw that the other night on Lou Dobbs. (my hero)
Like the useless liar that Bush is, he is trying to b.s. the American people sending the National Guard down to the border. Some of them are not even armed and they can't really do anything. Obviously, he doesn't take this seriously, he might as well send the boy scouts down there! Thanks for letting me vent!

I don't know that he is being a "wuss" on the issue, but he sure isn't doing enough fast enough. Legal immigrants are okay, but the illegals need to be deported - no matter where they are from. Come over legally or stay home. The illegal immigrants get on the US welfare/medicaid program and drive up our taxes. So many immigrant workers are paid VERY low wages so that brings the level of poverty down so that when AMERICAN CITIZENS hit hard times and need some assistance from the medicaid/welfare program they cannot get it. I would much rather pay the additional taxes for our citizens to get the help they might need instead of an illegal alien. But, alas, I don't get to choose where my taxes go.

first of all/// in order to recieve welfare and any type of governmental assistance you first have to become a us citizen....come on, you guys are american you should know this. Now, to answer your question son, if you have a television @ home they are starting to build a wall starting from the texas border to the california border. me being cuban american, Frankly illigal immigrant do not bother me, but what does bother me is that alot of people state that only mexicans come here illigally, but you have to consider, the media relate news that only ignorant people understand, when the medial states there are 11 million people illigal in this country, it is an ovreall number of people all over the world, let me ask you anti-immigrant this, ok they deport all illigal aliens, who is going to fix houses, fix the highways, work in fast food joints, w/out complaining, Honestly I sure is hell not. I know that you aren't either. Come on guys look at those people and be thankful that you live in a country that is built on democracy, that you guys do not have to leave to another country to find a better way of life, thank god that Mr. goerge Washington fought to obtain that freedom. Gettign back to the point, do you guys know how much money building that wall is going to cost many of your parents tax dollars. It will be cheaper to legalize many of then, they will pay tax money and contribute more to this country.

Bush is a conservative businessman. He can see the overwhelming benefits of having a ready supply of workers for low-skill and service jobs who aren't going to ***** & moan about how little they are paid, and who see a job in America (any job in America) as being the lowest rung on the ladder they wish to climb to the "American Dream". If a few more Americans saw things that way their would be no jobs for the people coming into the country!

Mr. Bush has to return to Texas after he is President. He'll need some sort of job or whatever. And of course, Texas is a hot bed for illegal immigration, I'm sure. So yes, he is a wuss.

I don't know why but he is, although he's not the only one being a wuss. Very few politicians are willing to go out on the limb and stand for something so in the public eye. I think its inbred in all politicians to worry about their own a$$es first and foremost.

He's trying to hide the fact that most people just want to blow up whoever comes over illegaly by being usually nice about it.
Last time I checked, alot of people were very unhappy about illegals.
