My son deploys in October for Iraq, He gets 16 days combat leave and we can't find him transportation from the base to the airport, I need help!

Call the Vehicle Inspection Plaza at 760.318.3830 or call the military operator on post. They have the info or numbers for transportation. If neither one of those works call the USO and they will guide to the right person. TONS of military support systems available so no worries just a learning curve on how to use them!

Second bit of advice in-case you haven't done it yet. Make sure you have all of your son's info at home. Is full name (duh), SS #, the unit he is to be attached to etc...this is only in case you need to contact him in the event he is deployed the Red Cross will be able to assist you in getting him a message.

um the bus, a cab, or tell him to go to the car place on base, they will transport him to the airport
