The real "pain" and misery of history has been war... seems to me the citizens of the world would of lived in peace had it non been for politicians, and religious leaders and the conquest for power... am I right?

if they give ANY form of amnisty to the illegals, i think everyone else who has commited a crime should stand up and fight for their amnisty.
come on bank robbers, thieves, murderers, rapists, and anyone else who has anything on thier record. stand up and fight, if they give amnisty for sneaking across the border and bringing in diseases, one little bank robbery shouldn't keep you from getting the same job the illegals get? right?

Me, personally I think this is a lost cause. Iraqi insurgents and the whole middle easts' insurgents will kill innocent children, some no older than 3 years old I've read a story on an incident involving a 3 year old little girl getting shot dead. What makes our country think that we can change anything when the mindset of these people are cold and ruthless from the beginning. They're not going to surrender and they'll continue fighting as long as were here and it doesn't matter what leader or their position to Al-Qaeida or Taliban. These are people of the devil. Not the Iraqi and Middle East innocents, but insurgents I'm reffering to. If we stay this war is NEVER going to end. I can see the death toll up to 5,000 to 7,000 if he stay over in Iraq for the next few years. America has pride, this country was built on American pride right? However, Jesus Christ one who is greater than even America said pride is a sin (ego) and will cause only hardship to oneself. Answer back to this topic.

I have always wondered why people have their disputes settled on one of those court televison programs and tell all of their personal business. Do these people get substantially compensated for their participation? If I was getting sued I certainly would not want the whole world to know it.

Here on Answers, blogs and practically any venue of discussion between political parties (cons, libs, dems, repubs), debate has degenerated into name calling and stereotypes. Why can't people simply debate their ideas based on principles and facts? Even tho there are clear differences in opinion, why can't people respect differences in opinion and find solutions?

Has the turn to Republican led Federal and (some) state govs created this environment? Are people just fed up with gridlock?
What are your thoughts?

i have trouble with gods that kill people-- pick your killer god and brand of religion and shove it down the throats of everyone you can.
the stupidist people i have met in my life have justified all there actions by two words GOD FAITH not one of them is willing to accept they might be wrong as they are so quick to identify others religions as wrong never looking at the origins of there own .Is a mans faith and beleif tested by his willingness to die and if so also his willingness to take gods enemys with him.

Bush is a coward because rather then taking a stance on Vietnam either pro or anti, he joined the National guard and then failed to pitch up for the last year of his service. He specifically stated in his enrollment that he didn’t want to see combat.

Bush is a coward, because on 9/11 he ran & hid, rather then flying to New York. Just as a hint of real leadership, the Rightwing’s most reviled president, Jimmy Carter, flew to 3 Mile Island, against his advisor’s advice, when it looked like it was about to melt down. Bush would NOT have done that.

Bush is a coward because he does not admit his own lack of wartime experience, but rather hides behind his pilot pose.

Bush is a coward, because he hires yes-men rather then people who know what they are doing. See Donald Rumsfeld (whose chief wartime experience was getting deferred) Mike Brown (whose resume has been proven bullsh*t by Time Magazine) and his head of the FDA

After it was found that members of Al-Quada, who for the most part aren't even from Iraq, admitted responsibility for killing two brave American soldiers, the Democrat leaders, as well as almost all of the media establishment, are still unable to call these people what they are ... Islamic Terrorists. To make nice with even America's most vicious enemies they instead continue to refer to these animals as "insurgents", completely ignoring the definition of what an insurgent is.

Does any leader in the Democrat party have a spine?

Am I dreaming, or is an extremist as radical as Ann Coutler really on the best seller list?

Is it just me, or does anyone else find that a person this extreme in their beliefs to be a radical nutcase? Whether you are conservative, liberal, or anything in between, don't you think this kind of crap belongs in extremeist societies, much like radical Muslim societies?
I'm not claiming to have read the book, but the title, alone, speaks for itself!
Please shed some light on why a real American Patriot would buy into this radical extremism, if they would...
