More tripe. They lost Texas when Santa Ana signed it away like a ***** to save his own life. Also, the most oppressed group in Mexico are the indigenous people and I don't see Mexicans aplogizing for taking their lands. Mexicans never held territoryr in Ohio and Nebraska, where they are currently flooding into. What's their excuse there.

Today, President Bush held a press conference in Vienna, Austria as part of a diplomatic visit to Europe. He was asked by a member of the press why approval for his policies, particularly on national security issues, was so low in Europe. Bush explained that Europeans didn’t take the 9/11 attacks seriously. “For Europe, September 11th was a moment. For us, it was a change of thinking.”

85 Europeans died in the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Whats with Repuglicons? They don't consider human deaths anything but a NUMBER...If some disaster were to happen in TEXASS...would it still be a number to Repuglicons?
(I always spell Texass that way, its NOT a misprint)

All current evidence points to Native Americans migrating to the Americas from Asia over now submerged landmasses. Maybe you should say "If you weren't a buffalo, you can't complain about illegal immigration."

A Pentagon document classifies homosexuality as a mental disorder, decades after mental health experts abandoned that position.

Do you think that the Vice President's daughter Mary has a disorder
and should be commited? After all she's a lesbian with a "mental disorder" now...she's now a danger to OUR fragile society....

Will the Repuglicons petition the President to DEMAND & have the Veep's Gay daughter commited?

I was a liberal until things got totally out of hand. I was pro-illegal immigration, but not anymore. I was for helping the poor until I learned that many so called poor people are working the system and liberals are letting it happen. I had many liberal points of view but have learned that liberals have become too extreme, and have changed my point of views. I now consider myself a moderate conservative.

Has this happened to any of you?

Should we change our voting system for President?

The Constitution directs each branch to CHECK AND BALANCE the another two branches of government. Those checks must be performed on-the-spot, in real-time, not after the fact years later. Today, technology makes that possible, easy, and safe.

To provide America's taxpayers with perfect accountability on the part of the president, all the president's official oral communications can be digitally recorded by three separate recorders to make tampering impossible, and provide Congress with the truth, when it investigates misconduct.

For this, the Constituion will need to be AMENDED

The Watergate hearings found President Nixon guilty of bribery, perjury, obstruction of justice, and using the CIA to work for his re-election. Other U.S. presidents have also violated the Constitution. Presidents are "human beings", imperfect, fallible, and self-interested. No real-time judicial oversight of the president is dangerous.

When a president needs to circumvent laws, he must get permission.

Well.. I posted a quesiton on this last night and got some good answers. Well I went in and requested the deferment and it was denied. The judge said that the trial is set to be over Wednesday and it WILL BE he said... so it won't interfere with my vacation they said. But I'm jsut hoping now that maybe it will get cancelled or settled or something and I won't have to go at all.

This question is for Whitey if he gets it.. or anyone who might know the answer... How do you find out or know how far back you will be in the line? Is it based on when you get there and sign in?? or what?? How do they determine it?

I'm praying so hard, I don't have to do it.. and if I do.. would the judge know for a fact that it wouldn't last longer than that?? is it possible??

Thanks for any help!!

This is excluding Truman, Nixon, and Lincoln. I don't know of that many presidents who came from common people.

Why do today's teachers insist on springing their political views on their students throught their teachings? This ultimately leads to the students thinking that this is "the way it happened" or this is "how I think" because that is what their techer taught them. Why can't they stick to the required criteria on a neutral level and keep their political opinions to themselves?

This was said by P. Ustinov.

Read it. REALLY read it and tell me what you think about this statement.

If poor people had tons of money, spiffy uniforms and state of the art equipment, wouldn't their planned actions look a heck of a lot more like our "military operations?"

Are home made bombs less "moral" than really cool ones created by billion dollar war corporations whose boards of directors include many people who hold high office in our country?

Do we just have cooler toys and that makes us feel morally superior when we blow up people thousands of miles from our own country?
