Liberals, The ACLU, The Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, and the rest of those groups will scream bloody murder if they think you have violated their right to free speech.

They will also scream bloody murder and try to censor you if you use your right to free speech to say something that they don't like.... Hypocrites....

First off lemme say, you have nothing better to do than stereotype every black person out there. And i'm pretty sure you don't know every single black person in america let alone in the world to know what they do with there money. You see all this BS on tv and then think you know something about a race when you know nothing. You need to take a look at your damn race and ask yourself why are they so irresponsible with their money and considering they had it long they should have a handle on it, right??? Yea we couldn't help as much as the white man because as you say new to money, maybe if your people didn't beat the **** out of us and making us work for free we would be in a better place than we are now. So shut your ignorant a$$ up and go read a book cause obviously you need some education.

What? Do you mean that you think they spend it too fast or something?

I won't say that I agree with that generalization, but if it were true, a person usually spends money fast because they aren't used to having a lot of it. That's when that happens. As to who does this most often, well, probably a lot of people.

I also have trouble saving money. Money's value fluctuates, although not so much here in the US, but there is little point in saving money too often, because we could get killed the very next day, and the only person to enjoy the money we worked for will be someone else. I spend. I spend a lot, and I'm not Black, so not just Black people do it. I'm not good at saving money, except if it really is needed, and even then I struggle. I do that because I view life as an ongoing process, and work as something that keeps coming. I also hate work! LOL...

I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm a black person, I have money and I helped victims of Katrina. As far as helping out "their other folks" in Africa, I'm American. I think all of us need to concentrate on helping anyone who needs it. Race doesn't come into it for me. What black people do you know? Do you know any black people? Why have you asked this same question so many times? All I can say is, widen your social circle. There are plenty of black folks who are involved in helping themselves and others. I don't think the President hates black people. With the exception of his buddies, I think he's done this whole country a disservice, it's not limited to minorities.

My man you have a right to express yourself. However, you are intelligent enough to know that when you talk about, race, religion, or politics you are going to tick some people off. I have known some Black folks who could squeeze a dollar until the eagle hollers then I have known some who were very cavalier in their attitudes. I don't think it is a function of race as much as it is a function of self esteem. Some people use money to try and buy self esteem. They think the more they own the better they are. Buying is their drug. I have seen people of all races like this. They are using money to try and cover their pain.

Keep on speaking your mind my man. It doesn't matter who doesn't like it. I did send money to victims of Katrina. :-P

I'm sure that we are all now "racists" for participation in this forum.. Anyways..

I live near a small city in the Midwest where the average wage is probably $10-$17/hour and I go in to the jewelry store to buy a ring and I finance it because I have school, house, insurance all these other bills yadda yadda...

A brotha comes up to my left buys 3 or 4 things at once and pulls out a wad about as thick as a pop can with $20's and $10's and you mean to say that he makes this jack @ an honest job?

Blacks in this country handle money just as well as other race. When opportunity has presented itself to Afro-Americans, they have managed to improve their plight as well as any group of people. Just study history and know that many opportunities were not availed to the Afro-American population as was to their counter.

I believe you are way off base regarding the Katrina aftermath or Africa. When you make board generalizations you lose your argument immediately. You haven't met every Black person in this country; and you don't know their financial standing regarding charity. To assume in this fashion is insane; take your medication and wake up!

You have every right to express yourself, so long as you do not impinge on the rights of others.

However, perhaps people were offended that you generalized about ALL black people. I doubt you would appreciate it if someone generalized about all white people -- especially if teh genaralization was not flattering.

Also note that there are many poor people who are not black, and if they get money, then the money is new to them too, and they might be inclined to spend it quickly as well.

Not all black people are the same just like all white people are not the same. Do you send money back to your folks in you native homeland. Probably not, the epidemic we face today is the same one italians and irish faced 70 years ago. The color is different now and that's pretty much it.

You keep on expressing yourself. That is your right to which I sacrificed and defended for. So you go right ahead.

There is nothing wrong with your question. I do think you can show some statistics which would easily back you up. Debt and credit score statistics would be perfect to back you up.

You have every right to express yourself in America as long as you are expressing your hatred for whites, males, Christianity, Bush, Republicans, Christmas, SUVs, or gasoline. Other than that, you have no rights of expression and you need to keep your mouth shut before you get sued by the ACLU for thinking you have rights!
