W IS a catastrophe

Simple answer is no.

The image that America has lost all of her friends is a myth propagated by the Drive-By Liberal Media. There is no truth to it. Behind the scenes almost all of Europe support us and actively assist us in locating and capturing terrorists. It was a European country that captured a ship with nuclear material going to Libya. Libya then quit its nuclear program to avoid being destroyed by America. It was the American (Bush) policy that allowed American and Spain to work together to capture the Libyan ship. Thats a real alliance and not mentioned by the media.

But consider the following:
1. American foreign policy is not supposed to make friends. It is supposed to make Americans strong and safe. Killing thousands of terrorists in Iraq is way better than terrorists killing thousands of American citizens.

2. Countries align themselves based on need. If the French, Germans and Russian are taking Sadams bribes and want to look the other way while terrorists grow stronger, then our interests don't align we don't need friends who act like enemies.

If other nations wish to be safe then they will align with us. If not, then not.

2. Who is a friend is a momentary concept. Americas friends change from day to day. It changes when new leaders come into power. It changes when old leaders discover new needs and want American help. (Remember that in the entire world, where people live free, American blood has been spilled. American frendship and support has been called upon many times in the past and will be called upon again so long as we are stong and dedicated. Running away is not conciderd strong or dedicated.)

Lastly...
The war in Iraq and a potential war with Iran is only a segment of the real war with is already going on. That is the war pitting Islam against everyone who is not Muslim. It is a war that started hundreds of years ago and has flared up again. When you get hit in the face you have two basic choices. Do nothing. Fight back. If you do nothing the next time your assailant may try to kill you - and succeed. If you fight back you may kill your assailant and save your own life.

The war in Iraq has killed thousands of terrorists and stifled the terrorist movement. That was what the Z man said in his own diary before we turned him into dirt.

Stop worrying about who is a friend and who is not. Worry about how you can stay alive and still be free to live as you please. As a non-Muslim!

He _is_ already leading this country into a catastrophic mess! Why? Let's see:
1) he rushed a case for an illegal war in Iraq that's since turned into a _huge_ Vietnam-styled quagmire that has killed over 2,500 of our finest soldiers;
2) he's lost a lot of allies in the world over some sickening policies;
3) after stealing the 2000 election, he politically divided the nation which is still happening as I speak; and
4) his occupation of Iraq is has increased the chance of a terrorist attack in the U.S. and around the world!

I hate it when the liberals & the anti-wars keep comparing the war on terror, including the war on Iraq with the Vietnam war as if somehow they're the same.
During the Vietnam war, did anyone hear of any Vietnamese planning a terrorist attack on American interests, either in US soil or overseas ?
After the war, did any Vietnamese go after & kill Americans as enemy ? In contrast, the Vietnamese see the "Yankees" as friends, NOT as infidels like those fanatic Muslims.
If we fail in Afghanistan & Iraq, these guys will definately go after us for everything they've got.
If we don't go after those thugs who mean great harms to Americans, then who will ? The French ? Last time I checked, we were the ones who saved them in WWII. And it was the French whose as*es we tried to save in Indochina, in a conflics which gradually led to the Vietnam war.
A catastrophy only occurs if America chooses to do nothing & wait to be attacked. In order to preserve peace, war sometimes must be waged.
I'm pretty sure you're not American, otherwise you'd not post your stupid question. Why don't you & your kinds come mess with us? We'll show all of you a piece of our "American foolish politics".

God Bless America !

start a war with Iran??? Are you seriously out of your mind? Iran has saying that it wants to "wipe israel off the face of the map" and has been enriching uranium in recent months. IF they don't stop then we HAVE TO attack them. You want USA to be the cowards to the world. Thank god you werent' around durring WW2 when the nazis were taking over Europe.

1) Who cares if we lose our allies? If we lost our allies by liberating a country that was oppressed by their government and Islamic ideaology, then we did something right for the world.
Jacque Chirac of France said that if Iraq is suspected of WMDs they should be attacked
but once USA began saying it all of a sudden he goes into anti-american mode. Don't you realize that our "allies"' pollitictans in europe are money-grubbing scumbags?

North Korea is another threat. They are testing a long-range missile that could possibly hit the United States, this could be a big threat to the USA. this is a situtation that needs to be taken care of.

I don't support Bush in a lot of things he does, but I swear, people like you want the world to just step on America.

Edit: This guy doesn't even live in america? I bet he lives in Europe where they actually are imperielists that are desperatly trying to put an end to america' supremacy. Not because it is right for the world, but because they want all the power to themselves- the EU. But yet when USA liberates a country it is imperilism but the europeans are trying to unite Europe. Hypocrites
Also calling USA bad for cleaning up Iraq? this is coming from people that started two world wars, ethnic cleansings, persecution of jews/holocaust, Screwed around with Africa unhumanely (cough France), etc...

Don't judge us, you should jude your own continent/nation.

I live in New england and you liberals wonder why your ideas are failing. Because whenever someone disagrees with you you say something like "BUSH IS HITLER" or "YOU ARE JUST RACIST " or any lame excuse. That is why Capitalism will suceed.

oh please, to catastrophe?! no! Bush first has to violate the law to impeach him, so good luck on that since it has yet to be ruled on that he broke the law...enough with that stupidity. And our allies?! which ones?! france? germany? russia? look at those countries and their histories. look at the deals they have with the countries that would do the world harm. no, the US is being alienated by the loud mouth contries that have contracts with dictators and countries that want to wipe other countries off the face of the planet. and the UN is lead by a bunch of pansies that are so corrupt that the UN no longer serves the purpose it was designed to do...sanctions...what a joke! yeah, we will sanction you Iran, which they cant even agree to do due to the deals that china and india have with Iran, to the point that it drags out so long that you end up with a nuke anyways. cause saddam really feared the sanctions of the UN! its not foolish politics, its hardball...sometimes you have to play that way. otherwise you have nazis marching on paris, your welcome France! Id listen to where the criticism is coming from before determining how bad the US reputation is.

No, Bush is a very smart person. If you dont think so, you obviously have never met the man. USA is the top of the world, whether people like us or not is besides the point. We buy so much from every other country, they NEED us. They are just angry at us because they dont want us to be their main importers, however, they NEED US.

Just look at North Korea, we dont buy anything from them, and they have almost always empty streets (no cars) and they turn of the whole country's power from dusk until dawn.

the american economic device is the main useful interior the worldwide and its well being impacts that of maximum others that proportion this planet. genuine allies proceed to be basically that by good circumstances and undesirable. The U.S. could desire to by no ability be a sheep and could desire to proceed to steer itself, regardless of what others have self assurance. Leaders lead and look after that which they have self assurance in, regardless whether or no longer they are the lone voice in help of a perspective. until yet another united states available develops a backbone and is able to steer, they're going to could desire to get out of ways and end being impediments to progression or the surprising of yet another united states to act unilaterally. If consensus became needed to act, no longer something might ever get completed (see the ineffective and toothless U.N.).

Why do you blame Bush for trying to stop the Islamic idiots? They have been attacking the US for 20 years. Were we supposed to just let them continue? I think not. As for Bush, there is certainly no Democrat who would have had the guts to execute the war like he has. Were there mistakes? Most likely. War is not a science.

He has definitely damaged the US in many ways, but if the right person is elected in 2008, a lot of what he did wrong can be corrected and the US can once again assume it's place as a respected member of the global community.
