Bush is a coward because rather then taking a stance on Vietnam either pro or anti, he joined the National guard and then failed to pitch up for the last year of his service. He specifically stated in his enrollment that he didn’t want to see combat.

Bush is a coward, because on 9/11 he ran & hid, rather then flying to New York. Just as a hint of real leadership, the Rightwing’s most reviled president, Jimmy Carter, flew to 3 Mile Island, against his advisor’s advice, when it looked like it was about to melt down. Bush would NOT have done that.

Bush is a coward because he does not admit his own lack of wartime experience, but rather hides behind his pilot pose.

Bush is a coward, because he hires yes-men rather then people who know what they are doing. See Donald Rumsfeld (whose chief wartime experience was getting deferred) Mike Brown (whose resume has been proven bullsh*t by Time Magazine) and his head of the FDA

(also exposed by Time Magazine, & if you are going to call Time liberal media, might I point you to who it named Man of the Year 2004?) Bush is so afraid of dissent, that he cannot allow it anywhere near him, he is a coward because he had Cindy Sheehan escorted out.

Clinton was a coward too, but he wasn’t a hypocrit. He didn’t bash his opponents war records, and he wasn’t a warlike president. Bush did exactly that to John McCain and John Kerry, and has taken America into 2 wars in his stint as president.

I will only comment one part of your rant. I am not a Republican or Democrat, and I do not like Bush.

On 9/11/2001, the President was taken away from the action because it is the security plan that if the country is attacked, you keep the President safe as soon as possible. I have nothing wrong with this. Coward on this day? No. Following security guidelines? Yes.

You are a bigger idiot than Al Franken, who probably is your cousin.

Hiding from terrorists on 9-11? Are you serious? What the hell do you want him to do? Stand in the building as it fell?

As for Vietnam, at least he served. What have you done for this country besides show you hatred for everything America has done?

And BTW, Bush DID NOT know Sheehan was in the Senate that night, and if you read anything, they also escorted a person wearing a Pro-war shirt on.

Last check Bush was there during the rescue effort at the twin towers. Also the documents that you get his Military record in Vietnam, the same documents that Dan Rather brought to the public view, were as he reveled falsified. And you can blame congress because they hold us back in the war. They're the reason we didn't bomb the **** out of Iraq before taking on the ground war. Also all of Bush's cabinet had to go before the senate for their job.

Now see, this is what I'm talking about. You people - God forbid you should write something here that's accurate about Bush, as opposed to just more nonsense - and then posing it as a question.

Bush ran and hid? Dude, it was terrorist attack. The president is taken to a secure location. If you don't like it, then that's just too damn bad.

Carter flew to Three Mile Island? Yeah, so? Carter ordered troops into Iran, too, which got people killed, but he never went there himself. Bush has been to Iraq, visiting our troops. Twice. He served them their Thanksgiving dinner. What have you done, other than bad-mouth the president?

Bush is not a coward. Bush is just doing what his people want him to do. It is very easy to criticise others, its better to look inside and think what the hell have we done for the welfare of our nation and our country.

Bush might not be right in everything he is doing but on the same side he is not a bad guy, someone has to pick the stick in hand, keeping ones own house protected it not crime. Cheers for Bush

old school
on 9 11 2001, he was NOT spirited away for his own safety, he sat in a classroom here (sarasota) for 8 MINUTES reading a book about a goat.
the secret service stood by and allowed this, NEVER insisting he be protected from an imminent threat. maybe he knew there was no threat, 3 miles from an airport, on that day?

Boy, I'm glad I am not married to you. If someone was attacking me physically, you would just run away and save your own butt.
Past presidents have been failures in office, but none had the
guts to bring on the fight like our President Bush.
"Happy Birthday" Mr. President. Need I say more.

I really think he's a coward because he doesn't send his daughters over there. If he's wanting to take care of another country and have other men and women fight, then why not send his daughters over there. Why? Because he's scared that they will get killed and with them at home with him, he doesn't have to worry. He doesn't care about the other troops. Sending them over there without the proper gear and all. That's why I think he's a coward.

You obviously know nothing more than what Michael Moore has infuse din your mind. Serve for 15 months in teh Army, volunteer to go to Iraq for 12 of them, and see if you don't come back educated about life, America and politics.
