I'm wanting a tattoo and I love turtles. Do turtles have any special meanings? I have read they bring luck, longevity and prosperity. Is this true?

I have a pet turtle and HER name is ZACK she is not even a turtle she acts like a dog. turtles don't make vocal sounds but she dose she will only make them if you rub her or scratch her. zack also knows how to dance all she dose is lift up her butt area and shakes it like crazy. she can beg and fetch and will follow you around. the thing zack loves to do the most is cuddle up in bed. she leaves presents on the bed too. if you know what i am talking about. so what do you think of my turtle? or is this normal?

How to Survive an Anaconda Attack
According to the Peace Corps manual for volunteers who work in the Amazon jungle, here is how you survive an anaconda attack (edited for space).
1. Do not run. The snake is faster than you.
2. Lie flat on the ground, put your arms tight against your sides and your legs tight against each other.
3. Tuck your chin in.
4. The snake will begin to nudge and climb over your body.
5. Do not panic.
6. The snake will begin to swallow you feet first.
7. You must lie perfectly still. This will take a long time.
8. When the snake has reached your knees, reach down, take out your knife, slide it into the side of the snake’s mouth between the edge of its mouth and your leg. Quickly rip upward, severing the snake’s head.
9. Be sure you have your knife.
10. Be sure your knife is sharp.

Hey my turtle has been shedding for about a week and about three or so days ago it seemed that he stopped, but now he has started again. His shell is generally a dark green, but after a scute or two fell off he has a more vibrant olive color with a pattern on it. I'm not sure if he is sick or anything. He also has been bitting at his feet and sleeping in weird positions. Any comments? What are any causes/ remedies?

It's been 3 years since the day my sister bought her turtle, " Bob", and we've noticed that the turtle has not had any sort of growth in size. Though Bob is completely healthy, we've begun to worry about his condition. The day my sister bought her turtle, he was about 2inch ish, less than 3 inches. But its been 3 years since that day, and hes still less than 3inches. We have expected him to at least grown maybe more than an inch, maybe one per year, but we're not really sure what the growing rate of " red ear slider's" are.

Please contribute if you have any info regarding this.
Thanks much ;]

I just realized my turtle has laid eggs in the water in my fish tank. I have no idea what to do. Do I just leave the eggs in the water or do they need to be removed?

I made a bet with my friend. OK so here it is. I said rattlesnakes are more poisonous than adult ones because their venom is more focused. My friend thought that when theh bite, they just hold on to your hand and don't let go. What do you think?

My 2 RES are getting too big for the tank they're in. Does anyone know what I could put them in? BESIDES THE POND?
They are in like a 30 or something gallon tank.

Looking for research on him/her and I found nothing! I mostly found things about the leopard gecko (most common). Does anyone have a Dwarf fat tailed gecko that can help me in:
handling her/him
what do I feed him/her (crickets, yes, but what else?)
& a little bit of were they came from.

thank you =]
