Looking for research on him/her and I found nothing! I mostly found things about the leopard gecko (most common). Does anyone have a Dwarf fat tailed gecko that can help me in:
handling her/him
what do I feed him/her (crickets, yes, but what else?)
& a little bit of were they came from.

thank you =]

Well, first of all all, the sites with caresheets about the African fat tail that you were given, although well-meaning, should be ignored. The dwarf fat tail is an entirely different species from the other side of the continent and with very different husbandry needs. The species most commonly sold under that name is Holodactylus africanus, it's also called the African clawed gecko. It is a small east African gecko from rocky desert like areas and really should be kept in a situation that allows it to burrow. When I worked with them we used several inches of play sand with the bottom layer moistened to facilitate burrowing. The trick to doing this is to insert a piece of large diameter aquarium tubing upright in the sand and pour water into it. The top of the sand will stay dry and the bottom half will moisten to allow burrows. You cannot keep any heavy cage furniture with them because they can burrow under it and it shifts down onto them. An undertank heater works well for them and any of the usual feeder insects such as waxworms and butterworms are fine in addition to crickets.
