I have always fed any constrictors I have live food whether it's mice, rats, or rabbits. I noticed alot of owners seem to make a big deal about feeding pre-killed food. I have never had a snake injured and I feel if a 6 foot boa has a problem taking a 6 inch rat, it's kind of a p*ssy anyways. I always watch to make sure the food is taken before I leave the room so there aren't any problems. Doesn't it defeat the purpose of having a large snake as a pet if you feed it thawed mice? Why not just make him a sandwich and trim off the crust?

He used to eat all kinds of stuff, but since he's lived outside in our patio, he seems to like only bugs. Will he stay healthy on just bugs?

I ordered an iguana cage online and I should receive it on Monday (they did come with one but I think it’s to small for them), I am feeding them lettuce and bananas but what do I do from there? I own dogs, birds, fish and snakes but I have never owned a lizard!

...
And also, they are not small…I would say just by looking at them that they are each over a foot long not including the tail.

Thanks!

My pet alligator, Razor, has escaped from my apartment (he's 16 feet 4 inches long and weighs about 450 pounds). How can I go about finding him?

I keep calling out "Razor, Razor!" - but there is no answer.

My mom has 3 tutles who we got when they were small and now they are growing to be big, they live in a fish tank right now, they're the kind that live in water. They are getting too big for the fish tank especially with 3 of them and my mom wants to let them go in a near by park thats filled with ducks and other turtles. But I was wondering could they survive out there if they're so use to getting fed their food everyday. Would they know what to do on their own?
