Even though both lizards like the same type of climate, the anole will be lunch for the water dragon. It will work well however if you put a larger type of anole in the cage and let them grow up together. Other species of lizards can be kept with water dragons. The Calotes tree lizard, also from Australia would do great. Calotes are not always available though. Just be sure lizards have the same climate requirements and similar size to begin with. We keep the golden gecko, rainbow skink, yellow throat plated lizard and a few others with water dragons occasionally.

Absolutely.
Of course, the anole will probably be gone in the morning, as it's more than likely the dragon will eat him.
Every reptile needs its own cage. If you don't have the room or the money to buy a habitat for the anole, put it back where you found it and just enjoy the dragon you already have.

Only if the anole is supposed to be lunch for the dragon.
Don't mix species, especially from different parts of the world - they each have 'cooties' that won't bother them but can kill the other one. The care requirements are somewhat similar for your two but not really close enough so it will be hard to give both proper care in the same enclosure.
The anole is definitely wild, he's guaranteed to have parasites. Your dragon probably is wild too, not many are captive bred. You'd be risking one or both lives by keeping them together.

only keep the anole as a feeder for the dragon. the best thing to do with the anole is let it back out into the wild.

certainly one of my 1st replaced right into a hearth abdomen toad. 2 could be homestead in a 5 gallon tank. 4 in a 10 gallon that's greater common reason walmart sells 10 gallon tanks for 12 money. they want no lighting fixtures yet while your rooms chilly purchase a warmth pad. They est crickets and mealworms. There downfall is you cant continually carry Them. next suggestion is leopard gecko. they could be housed in a 10 gallon and cna have information paper for there cage backside. They eat crickets and mealworms. Dont grab its tail. they only easily want a heatpad no easy or a lighy and no heatpad next is african fat tail gecko. all of the comparable Care as leopard gecko yet calmer in my opinoin and seem cooler. next is crested gecko. they want no warmth and do ultimate in room temperature like the hearth abdomen toads. and that they dont want any insrcts obly this powder you blend with water. final is dont get a bearded dragon they're very high priced for caging, lighting fixtures and feeding. solid luck!

Simply put, usually a bad idea to mix reptile species in one tank. To be honest, I am unfamiliar with the particular combination, but considering lizards can be vicious even toward their own species, I would not recommend it. And if you kept your dragon for a while, I am guessing it's about 2 feet. And if my memory serves me correctly, WDs are not vegans...
