I'm guessing it's a python of some sort.. It's just beginning a 7-10 day shed cycle. You will soon notice the eyes beginning to get hazy.

Do you have a heat rock or heat pad inside your tank? If so, your snake could be burned. This happened with my first snake from her heat rock. I only use under tank pads now.

If you have one of the reddish colored heat rocks mine would come out of the water and onto the rock and some of the color would rub off on their belly.

its fixing to start shedding my red tails and balls both do this when they are getting ready to shed
