I have had a red earred slider for about two years now, and within the past week or so, he hasn't really been eating much. Usually when I drop some turtle pellets in the tank, he eats them all within seconds. He has done this once before right after I got him, but I'm not sure if theres some particular reason for this.

I want a snake for christmas. I tried to get a puppy, but my parents say im not responsible, and that they aren't going to have a animal in the house. I think if all i ask for is a snake, and i REALLY mean thats all i ask for, i might get it. But i don't really know what i would need. I know i need a lamp and like a glass case thats large enough. I've been looking at ball pythons. How big do they get??? How much do they cost at a Pet Store? Also, i will feed them rats, but is it possible to feed them dog food, or is there some other source of food i could feed them thats not "alive"(or frozen). How much would all the equipment set me back??? Is it possible for the snake to escape a case???
Please help.

Very popular video at the moment of a turtle/tortoise raping another turtle/tortoise.

Everyone cheers the rapist on and laughs.

Why? I feel sad for the girl turtle. Why no one cares about the girl turtle?

Sorry, I asked this question before. But no one "answered" it. They said to feed it live worms, which I will, but for the time being, I have CANNED worms from Can-O-Worms. They are pretty tiny. I was feeding 10 at a time. I just put 30 in. How much should I use!?!? He might be 8 inches long (including his tail, which is his original tail). He does not eat the canned crickets, they look too big, & they hardly fit in his mouth.

I got him from my boyfriends sister, they had to get rid of him because he was "eating" the females? (sounds a little strange to me, I thought only males fought) I believe he is full grown. He looks about...8 inches long. I feed him canned food. However, he will NOT eat the canned crickets. I've tried. But he just...picks them up & spits them back out. He did however, eat one. But he LOVES the canned worms. They look pretty small to me. & he will eat as many as I put out. I've been feeding him 10 at a time, once a day. Is that too much or too little??

Also, he is very aftraid of me. I will put my hand in the cage for a while untill I think he is used to it, then gently try to pet him. But most of the time he runs & hides. Does anyone know how I can get an adult gecko to actually like me & let me handle him?

I bought crickets to feed my anole and I can keep them alive and gut load them and the anole likes them fine. Catches them, it's fun to watch her stalk them, etc., but trying to catch the crickets in the little plastic crate is practically impossible. If I keep the lid open too long, they hop out. If I keep it closed, I can't catch them. What's the right tool? Should I use a net? A meatball maker? Help!

I really want a Ball Python-- but my husband is convinced that it could kill our child. I've researched them; but I just can't find any information on this-- so maybe someone here can help.

By the way, I am looking to get a captive-bred.
