Sorry, I asked this question before. But no one "answered" it. They said to feed it live worms, which I will, but for the time being, I have CANNED worms from Can-O-Worms. They are pretty tiny. I was feeding 10 at a time. I just put 30 in. How much should I use!?!? He might be 8 inches long (including his tail, which is his original tail). He does not eat the canned crickets, they look too big, & they hardly fit in his mouth.

I just love these lizards...they like Wax Worms best, but they are more and a bit more fragile...keep a small dish in his cage with meal worms in it at all times...they will not over eat. Most do not like the can'ol'worms, so if you put in 10 and have 10 in a day or so...go send the $1.99 container of mealworms small size and two dozen small crickets, he will like you a bunch more if you do.

ALL Lizards love to see their dinner moving they eat on instinct.
Go get live baby crickets and he will eat about 6 at a time so I would say 15 dried worms would do it for now but it wont last so go buy them LIVE waxworms or meal worms.

I owned many gecko's live worms isn't the best get them crickets and leave them in the cage alive. Dont worry gecko's never over eat but make sure they have access to fruit as well (baby food will do fine)

That is a trial and error! Watch how many it eats. Maintain that. If you want your gecko to get bigger. increase the number gradually. Most reptiles don't go for the artificial canned or dried insects. That is why I bought a vegetarian reptile! Crickets and worms are a pain in the butt!

geckos are not supposed to eat worms. They are supposed to eat crix. You gutload the crix and put them in the gecks cage. The worms can actually upset their systems. If you feed them any, it should be wax worms. They are the easiest to digest. Good Luck.

My gecko eats adult live cricketts usually five to six at a time. initially i tried the canned ones but she likes them moving around. never fed her worms. I put up to ten cricketts in her cage, she eats her fill and the rest hang out untill its their time. the pet stor can also help you out. good luck!
