well it needs a fish tank or a tank with a bowl of water not to deep just enough to get his bottom side wet and needed a limb to climb on and hide. I would put it by a light so he/she could stay warm. Then go to the pet store and get some live crickets for it to eat. Use dirt in the bottom of the tank and make it a little wet not muddy just damp.

I have 2 fire bellied toads and have them in a 20 gallon fish tank with a wire mesh lid. I have about 2" of fish gravel on the bottom and 3 large water/swimming dishes, plants, moss and a couple hiding place. I feed them every few days with live crickets. I feed the crickets cat food to give the frogs more protien in their diet. Bullfrogs can get quite big, in the wild here they are know for eating LIVE mice!!! Maybe this spring find someone with an outdoor pond for him.

What species? I used to have two large African Albino frogs. They would eat practically any kind of insects, small fish, meat, but not vegetables.. The only draw back for me was, They make the water nasty in one day kept in large bowls that i bought from the pet store. Beware , they are super slippery!!!!

i had a frog that lived out by my pool in a fold of the ground cloth where some rain water and flies had gathered. i let him live there all summer before taking him across the road to a pond that is there so he could do his thing for the winter. i named him kermit.
