While emerald swifts are usually easy to care for, many are wild cought, and therefor delicate in captivity. After being cought their lifespan tends to drop to an average of about 3 years. They are generally not as easy to handle as most other lizaerd. But with lots of careful concistant handling they should calm down quite a bit.
Most prefer large naturalistic homes with lots of hiding places, sandy floors to burrow under, and sticks or rocks to climb on. A nice flat rock could also make a nice basking spot.
During the day the temperature inside the cage should be about 85-90 degrees fahrenheit. And at night it should be a comfortable 70-75 degrees fahrenheit. The emeald swift also appreciates humitity, so you may want to mist the cage about once a day.
They usually average at about 6 inches in length and their diet concists mainly of crikets; but they have also been known to eat some leafy vegetables like lettus or cabbage.
Good luck.
