Not much of the natural world scares me other than humans. I would be very alarmed by a bat being in the house, however. I've seen plenty of spiders, rodents, and reptiles, and not been stiff about it. A bat is a wonderful creature, but in my house? I might have to pack up the family and go elsewhere until it was removed.

I'm not sure if it counts as a creature or not ... probably would if it grew big enough ... but I would say that I would be scared stiff of having a virus loose in my home.
They are so many deadly ones out there - ones that could cause the death of family, friends & beloved pets. I'd so hate to have a virus loose in my home.

thankfully, the only thing I have encountered are windscorpions, and they don't scare me stiff, they scare me into the jumping and running to find either someone else to get it, or a shoe if I must get it myself

I would freak out if a giant spider was set loose in my house. I don't mind little Daddy Long-legs now...but like a black widow or a giant tarantula is not some thing that I would take with a grain of salt. *shivers* Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps and want to grab a can of RAID.
