I have a 17 year old Persian cat called Belle who is severley ill. I have taken her to the vet every day for the past week but she is not making any improvement in her health. She has fluid in her lungs and has lost so much weight. The vet has said he cannot operate due to the weight-loss and has told me that I should begin to consider induced euthansia.
Even though Belle is still alive, I know that I only have a few more days with her. I have been crying uncontrollably ever since I realised that the end of our companionship is coming ever closer. None of my friends realise how attached I have become to my Belle and I am very worried about how I will cope in the future.
To look at Belle now, she is very weak - she doesn't eat, her breathing is laboured and she has slight trouble moving around. She still responds to me, and starts to purr as soon as she see's me. It hurts so much to see her like this and I know that the only thing I can do to take away the pain is to put her to sleep.

My dog hates storms as most animals do. He kept attempting to get out and go down the hall. The door was opened for a few minutes and he escaped, unknowingly. A while later my dog was brought to the door. He was found in front of another tennants door shaking, he wanted in her apartment. The lady is paralizes and has movement of head only. Her cat just passed away a few days ago. My dog loves her any way but what a wonderful thing for him to do, he sure made her day and mine too. Tell good about your pet today.

Alright...this is a very stupid question, but it has been bugging me for a long time. Is the store petsmart pronounced Pet's Mart or Pet Smart? The "s" seems to be smaller than all of the other letters, and there isn't an apostrophe.

I have a sound, barrel racing, huntseat, lesson, trail arabian mare. she is sweet and loves people. she has no health problems. and was shown last year, always in ribbons and has alot of spunk. she even came out reserve champ. in barrels at the local fair (youth 12 and under)

My brother's two pit's just went to the vet for system failure! He loves the and one is expecting. The vet said the litter will be lost and the dogs will more likly die.

He was feeding them ol roy dry food.

i just ran to the store to exchange mine and gave them a heads up on the product

mean that i can't afford to take care of a pet. the only reason i can't pay up front for a fee is because i have my money planned out ahead of time for the month. i have cut out certian things i used to do that cost money to be able to care 100% for the animal. so for any of you to judge that is wrong. college makes ya have to spend money wise. thats why i want to adopt. monthly costs is not an issue.

i want to get a pet and my mum is letting me i already have two dogs (rotweilers) and a two male rabbits (still intact) but now i want something diffrent my nan has guniea pigs so i know alot about them and my neighbour has a ferret but which is better i know ferrets are more pricey but they are cute or are there any other small pets like this that i should consider i want to house it indoors be legal and easy to get hold of and it has to have a brain bigger than a pea

I want to bring my puppy to store and restaurant,if the store/restaurant don't have sign "no Pet". Can I carry him in the purse type or soft pet carrier or in the soft bag. Is it permitted? is it legal? allow? My puppy is around 10 lbs. Do you see people do that often?

Hi. It seems there are large mice or rather rats coming onto my 2nd story patio. I don't have any food out there. How can I keep them away and NOT hurt or kill them. I am very animal friendly and can not hurt them. I just want them to not hang out on my patio and have a field day. Altho my cat is enjoying the window show, I'm not enjoying them right outside of my backdoor. I live in an apt. and it's a small building. I'm the only one upstairs. Thanks all. My friend just lost her bunny... I'm unsure if it was old age or not, but I do know she had him for a very long time. She's been asking if I know anyone with a bunny for free. Do you have a pet? Do you not? I think everyone was some way affected by this. My dog's food was not recalled. I work in retail and the small amount of pet food we carry was not recalled. This morning I had to search for Gravy Train beef sticks and check all of the alpo. (Lucky me it's on specail this month so we have LOTS) So how has it affected you?
