I bought 2 guinea pigs that are male and female in the Penny Saver. The male's name is Snowball and the female's is Snowflake. Here's a site on guinea pig names: http://exoticpets.about.com/cs/namelists/a/namesgp.htm. Also, here's some of the names that are on the list and some that I like: Autumn, Bacon, Bambi, Beauty, Biscuit, Blackie, Brownie, Charlotte, Cinnamon, Cocoa, CreamPuff, Daisy, Dolly, Goldie, Honeybee, Hoppy, Fluffy, Flower, Lilly, Lucy, Lou, Piggy, Poppy, and I'll finish it later.

I only bought a guinea pig once and it was from a pet store like Petco. Names? Hard to say when I don't know anything about them and don't know what they look like. What do they remind you of? I named my new Maltese puppy Coconut because she's white, but now I wished I had named her Mop since she looks like a mop to me. lol Without ever seeing them, I'll just call them brownie and cookie.

My girls names are Stella and Shasta...

Please don't buy from a pet store or breeder! The pigs are usually sick, mite infested and pregnant. I bought my girls at PetCo before I knew how bad they were, and they both had lice, mites, and upper respiratory infections (they weren't pregnant, thank God)

Check out www.petfinder.com to find a list of rescued guinea pigs in your area.

Also check out www.guinealynx.com for great info on guinea pig care and www.guineapigcages.com for instructions on building a cheap, and appropriate sized cage for a guinea pig.

Have fun, guineas are great pets!!

Well I think it depends on their personalities what you name them and their colorings.
-Squeaky
-Mouse(irony lol)
-Cupcake
-Kate
-Ellie
I got my first two pigs(shame on me) from a petstore don't do that ok? The rest were rescued, Chance we found at petco through the adoption part, Cody we got from someone who didnt take care of her, Simon and Paulie(R.I.P) we got from petfinder.com and Peter and Patrick we got from this petshop(they were left on their step they werent bred there so yeah). Look on www.petfinder.com or find a good breeder in you're area.

You can't go wrong with Petco.

and for your naming problem,
i really can't decide for you, it really depends on how your guinea pig looks.

I had a white female guinea pig and I had named it Snowball :]
