what would be better a girl or boy guinea pig ?

I always go with female pets. They seem to be more affectionate, and less aggresive than males. I think that they are much more cute than males. However, some female pets can go into heat, so they may have to be fixed. I don't know about guinea pigs though.

Both are very good, if you want more of a lazy chilling on your lap males are better for that(with the exception of some like one of my boys peter). Females are bit more hyper, they get along better with other females sharing the crate with them. Males CAN get along if they are sharing a crate with another male but since in the wild it's usually one male and ALOT of females it's better that the males are put together at an early age but expect them to try and dominate eachother thats what my boys do and so do girls. Males leave their scent alot but you get use to it after a while.

Girl. They generally have better temperaments. It is also good to get two of them because guinea pigs are social creatures and it will help keep your guinea pigs healthy.

I HAD A BOY AND IT WAS REALLY SWEET.I ALSO HAD A GIRL AND IT WAS SWEET TOO.I DONT THINK IT MATTERS. YOU BOTH HAD GREAT TEMERMATS. THEY WOULDNT HURT A FLY. LOL GOOD LUCK
