Where I take riding lessons all of the horses are very overweight. Is there a good website out there that tells me how much a horse should weigh for his height or breed?

are you agaisnt animal testing and making animals out of fur? well if you arent you should be!!!
did u know that people in china skin cats and dogs for their fur? and they stuff them in tiny cages and throw them around which shatters their bones, and to keep the fur nice, they kill the animals by suffocating them, and the animals wake up while they are being skinned most of the time!!! if you dont believe me go to peta.com, and you can help by emailing the evil people that do that and trying to stop this!

My guinea pigs are always sneezing, and stuffy. I have tried all sorts of different bedding. I keep them away from drafts, I keep them warm and give them vitamin C. but it always seems like I am taking them to the vet for URI's! Any ideas?

Last night my cats brought me a baby rabbit. It's not hurt at all, but I don't know what to do with it. Does anyone know of any sites where I can find out about the care and indentification of wild baby rabbits?

My pet rabbit (Shadow) just started biting my 13 yr. old daughter. She does not bite my husband or I, just her. Shadow is normally a very laid back bunny. She is in-doors, liter trained, and just an all around great pet. Her and I are very attached, she was sickly when I bought her so I have basically become mom. She is 3 yrs. and gets a little territorial over me. Ex., my husband wants to lay next to me on the couch and shadow will push him away. But my daughter does not have to be any where near me. My daughter is not abusive to her in any way. I saw it happen once and she was just petting her when she bit her and drew blood. I tried petting her in the same spot to see if maybe she had an injury or something, and nothing, she just licked me.
Just wondering if anyone has experience this before and what they did.
Thank you.

We rescued a wild baby rabbit on Saturday who's nest had been destroyed due to dogs and the mother is no where to be found (we looked at appropriate times, tracks, etc). The other babies in the nest are gone/died, only one survivor. I think he's a cottontail and his eyes are still closed. We nursed it back to health, and now it's becoming mobile, with his eyes closed. He explores a secure area we have for him, and always comes back to his "nest". Very friendly, does not seem stressed at all (no shakes and doesn't cry). I can't get a hold of area rehabilitators. He's doing quite well and I have researched A LOT on the care for this lil guy. Just wondering, if he makes it and I still can't get a hold of a professional, when do I release him back into the wild? Do I have to do it in a specific place? I was thinking of a state park, is that illegal? I know that I cannot keep him, but I don't want him to die. Any info would help. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY.

What is the best way to introduce a cat to a dog? Supposedly the dog isn't good with cats, and I don't want to give up my cat. The reason why I am asking is because I will be moving in with someone who has a dog who might not be to friendly with cats.
