Last night my cats brought me a baby rabbit. It's not hurt at all, but I don't know what to do with it. Does anyone know of any sites where I can find out about the care and indentification of wild baby rabbits?

I would take it to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator... wild rabbits are hard to keep alive.....good luck
edit: did some more research.. its a myth about mom rejecting them :http://www.animalconnectiontx.org/wildrabbits.htm

you can do a search for one in your area or you can call your local vet and they usually have phone numbers....smile

here are some sites if you cant find a rehabilitator but I would definately go to them first.. the chances of survival is not good if you keep it:

Are the rabbits ears free? If they are not stuck to the side of his head then he is ready to leave the nest and can be put back in a grass field. If they are still attached to his head then you need to call either the human society or talk to an animal rescue group. Wild rabbits are not easy to take care of, and in some places it is illegal to take a rabbit from the wild and try to raise it.
I know this from experience, my cat brought me two little fluffers last year...one lived and went to live at a rescue group.

Wow, a baby rabbit! Is it adorable? Anyways, I think you should call your vet and they'll tell you what to do with it. One time I found a nest of baby birds and called the animl vet. They said to stick it in a box hanging from a high enough branch. I obeyed and the next day, their mother came back and continued to take care of them. It felt great to know they are safe again. So call a your local vet and soon the baby rabbit will rejoin its family!
