Yes, I love them. Best rodent pet, ever, and I can make an honest comparison because I have also enjoyed hamsters, gerbils, and mice, as pets.
I even like wild rats, the underdogs of the animal world.

We have a white rat. She is the coolest thing. My youngest wanted a rat, I was a little freaked. Still not sure about the tail. But all in all, she seems as smart as one of our dogs. She has learned to do tricks for treats. She comes to her door on her cage when called. Best thing, she doesn't bite. Has never bitten like some do. Yeah have to say I like her.

I love my two Ratties!!!!! They make me so happy and are great for my apartment! I'm new the the whole rat as a pet thing.... BUT I LOVE THEM SO and I try to take as good of care of them as I can and I also have the resources of a friend how has had them for much longer than I have.

I love em!..well i researched em up and they sound great. I dont own one...well not yet.. i asked my mom but she said no becasue i have a pet hamster and the house is small. But the bad thing is i just dont want to see them die you know?..but that life..my hamster is already getting old and i only had him for 7months..

Love them - I had them growing up and one a few years ago, until my toddler over-fed it....
They're much more lovable than any small "rodent-pet" out there, don't bite and are easily trained.

i love rats. i had one named snickers and she died about 8 months ago of a mammary tumor. she fell when she was climbing her cage wires and couldnt get up. :(

i,myself,have two healthy rats .there names are mitzy & molly and one is a hooded and the other is a dwarf.

I love them, but my mother can't stand them so I will have to wait until I get my own place to have one.
