My daughters pony is over weight so I am getting her in shape again. I am taking her on long rides up and down hills and bringing her swimming. The weight is slowly coming off her but now my daughter does not want me to take her anymore, she says im too rough with her and that im riding her too hard. I think this has to be done to get her back in shape. Although my Levis are getting soaked from her sweat, I think thats just because she is overweight and she is sweating more. When I get back from a long ride my daughter always checks my jeans to see if I was rough on the horse and when she sees them she starts to sulk. I now have the pony on a good diet but my daughter tends to give her treats when I get back from riding because she feels sorry for the pony. Am I doing wrong with the pony or should I keep it up with the long rides?

Hi, I believe my mouse has the flu. When I picked her up earlier and was playing in my hands, she seemed to sneeze. I also notices she sleeps a bit more than usual. Does she have the flu? And if so, how can I cure it?

Does anyone know of a good video or book that shows how to teach a horse to lounge. I dont want one that shows one lunging. I need to know how to teach one from scratch, that has no idea what walk in a circle means. any personal tips or suggestions would be great also. Thanks

My croc is getting to big for the bathtub and he is starting to get a little snappy and bad temperd and his breath stinks. Where would be a good place to let him go or should I just beat him to death.
Sincerely

Hi there, I'd like to ask about how much the trip to the vet costs for a hamster.

Here's the thing I'm worried that my dwarf hammy has an abcess. He is still able to get around and stuff.

Since I found the round bump on his tummy, he squirms a lot (still doesn't bite tho, he's such a good hammy).

I don't think it's cancer because it's not growing, but I also am not sure if it's an infection because he won't let me hold him long enough to see if it's leaking pus or anything. Please help!

My hamster Fritz died of renal failure at the age of 2 years and 7 months (old, I know). Any idea why kidney give up in old hamsters?
Could it be something we did with food / water? The vet suggested dextrose (sugar) in the water tank and our hamster loved it!

I have a chihuahua hes around 3lbs, i have a bag, thats airline approved, he has tons of room in it and ts bendable to fit under the seat... Im jsut asking, what kinds of things did you encounter while bringing your pet? Are they easy when they look at the certificates or do they look at every single paragraph, (paranoid as you can see) and, all in all was it easy to bring your pet into the US? I have a 15hh 4-year-old black-brown cob (gelding) with a star and a white nose, and I don't know what to name him. I don't want anything like "Bubbles" or "Fluffy", I want a good name.

I had a wooden carrot hanging on the side of my rabbits cage but it got in her way so I just sit in on the ground in her cage. Today I noticed a part of the plastic that it hung by was biten off. Quickly I opened her cage and searched all over but it was nowhere to be found. I next assumed she swallowed it. What happens if a rabbit swallows plastic?

I've heard this before, but I forgot what it meant. Sometimes in the male's cage he stomps his back feet down hard. Or when he's in his playpen, he does it on the rug too. Strange. Does anyone know why?
