I hear they enjoy getting pleached. It's not acruel thing. In fact, I heard they love it. It is supposed to be an excellent bonding tool used to harmlessly befriend the dog (or cats) with it's owner more expeditiously. I've heard of pleaching before but please explain this in adequate detail. Thankyou!

My hamster escaped exactly eight days ago, and I set the bucket traps and looked everywhere, but I have not had any luck finding her. I am told she may be in the wall. Well, if she died (god bless her), how long would it take before I would know it? And, if you have any experience with this and would know about whether I would need to drill in a hole in the wall or something, please share it.

This sucks!

Ok. So I have been riding western for most of my life and just now have the craving to jump. So my parents bought me an english jumping saddle, but they ride western so they can't teach me. My horse, Snowflake, is a 13.2hh western POA. How can I teach her to start jumping? What methods should I use that work on cavelettis and jumps.

I went home for 2 weeks and brought my cats with me. I couldn't stand leaving them behind for that long. We had a great time but there were complications on the flight back. I wont get them until Tuesday, that is if everything goes as planned.

I miss them so much, I'd just like to hear some fun stories of your pets.

Here's one of mine:
While I was home I split the time up, half of it with my in-laws, and the other half with my family. When I was with my family I brought my younger cat only. He has never seen dogs before and was so great with my parents 2 dogs. All night long he would pace the house and meow constantly. I think he was looking for his brother (who I had left with my in-laws for the time being). It was cute that he missed him so much and made new friends with my parents' pets, but annoying that I couldn't sleep and that he woke up the whole house at night.

Do wild rabbits (cottontails) feel cold in the winter? How low of a temperature is normal for them? Does the snow bother them?
Thanks!

i saw on a website and it said that it is bad to breed 2 dwarf hamster siblings...i'm not sure why and if it's true, so can someone confirm this and tell me why?

i also want to know how we should feed newborn hamsters that are just a day old...and does the mother have to feed them, or do we have to give them some extra food?

do they prefer a dark environment, or bright environment?

another thing is that our own hamsters had babies and the mother doesn't seem to be taking very good care of them, is that normal?
sorry for all the questions, but the best answer will be given the points early

I had this hamster when I was a kid; and one night, it was spinning around really, REALLY fast in its wheel when the cage flew, like, 2-3 feet into the wall. Miraculously, the hamster was unharmed. Has this ever happened to anyone else's pet, though? That cage was pretty heavy, and the wheel wasn't that big in comparison.... :P Was my hamster cage haunted, or what....?

Purebred "Fancy" Rats especially are incredible pets and there are whole societies and clubs in the USA, Canada, England and Australia, devoted to them.

I watched a thing on discovery channel about people from Peru eating fried guinea pig with teeth and claws attached. It was said they taste of chicken.

I want to thank everyone for answering my questions. I am definitely a beginner with horses, but have always had a fondness for all animals espec horses and dogs. The last thing I want is a horse that is skittish, I want one that will be very tuned into me, and someone asked what I wanted the horse well just for pleasure altho I'd be interested in learning dressage, have seen some events on TV , and its very beautiful, and I would think in order to succeed ther's have to be a very strong bond between horse and rider, and I like that. I'll be spending LOTS of time with my horse. Another question that Iponder over is I am better to purchase a yearling as opposed to an older horse.
Thank you muchly in advance
