I had this hamster when I was a kid; and one night, it was spinning around really, REALLY fast in its wheel when the cage flew, like, 2-3 feet into the wall. Miraculously, the hamster was unharmed. Has this ever happened to anyone else's pet, though? That cage was pretty heavy, and the wheel wasn't that big in comparison.... :P Was my hamster cage haunted, or what....?

I sincerely doubt that the hamster had the problem-solving capacities to think, "Gee! If I run around really, really fast in this wheel, I might be able to throw the cage at the wall." II also doubt the poor little thing would have wanted to repeat the experience, as he was quite frightened by it. @__@ Sadly, though, Nimrod departed this world in 1997 at the ripe old age of four

whatever the problem is, haunted or not ... becareful as your hamster already knew the way to escape ... and he/she most probably do that again hoping that would open the cage and escape ...

once he/she escape, you will have a hard time pushing furnishers and your grand piano around looking for him/her ... there are many cases or run away hamsters ...
