I went home for 2 weeks and brought my cats with me. I couldn't stand leaving them behind for that long. We had a great time but there were complications on the flight back. I wont get them until Tuesday, that is if everything goes as planned.
I miss them so much, I'd just like to hear some fun stories of your pets.
Here's one of mine:
While I was home I split the time up, half of it with my in-laws, and the other half with my family. When I was with my family I brought my younger cat only. He has never seen dogs before and was so great with my parents 2 dogs. All night long he would pace the house and meow constantly. I think he was looking for his brother (who I had left with my in-laws for the time being). It was cute that he missed him so much and made new friends with my parents' pets, but annoying that I couldn't sleep and that he woke up the whole house at night.

When I got my cat Cailleigh, she got an upper respiratory infection from the kennel she was in. The vet gave me meds, and also suggested I bring her into the bathroom with me when I showered to let the moisture help her breathe. (she was congested)
Picture the bathroom: You walked in and the claw tub was right in front of you. You had to close the door to get to the toilet to the left and the sink was between that and the tub.
Calleigh would come running to be in the bathroom when I showered. She would come in, jump on the toilet seat and then up to lay in the sink while I showered. All was well...until the one day.
The day I forgot to put the seat down on my "previously enjoyed" toilet. Poor Cailliegh...she came racing into the bathroom, went to jump on the toilet seat and SPLAT into...well, a mess.
She jumped out of there SOOO fast. The other cat was very protective of her, and came running to see what was wrong. The other cat went to Cailleigh to touch noses....but when she smelled "eau de toilet" on her...well, cats CAN make faces....
I called the vet in a panic...they had me shampoo her with the only shampoo I had....Herbal Essence shampoo...so Cailleigh ended up smelling pretty good for a few weeks. :) Esp in comparison. :D
Hope that made you smile...

We had our first major snowfall 2 days ago. My young tom , Boscoe, had never seen snow before; so, when I opened the door to let him out he hit the snow with his two front paws and slid---grabbing anything with his back feet (which were still inside) to keep him from going forward. He froze. (pun intended) I picked him up and brought him back inside. He spent a good two hours checking out his front paws to make sure they were okay.
He figured it out today, though, and runs in and out like the others do.

my cat likes to "egg" our two dogs to chase him or play with him when they are sleeping or playing with each other. He will splay his claws out and swipe at them to get their attention.
They all sleep in our queen size bed together. The dogs like to lay between us and the cat likes to sleep on top of one of us usually me.
Our dogs get jealous of each other if we are not petting both of them at the same time.

When my son was about 9 months old we got him a cat. We named the cat Red (it was an orange and white cat, I just thought Red sounded better then Orange anyways) Red followed Alex (my son) everywhere. If one went to the refrigerator then the other was right behind him, Alex shared all his food with Red, they slept together. When Alex called Red came. He didn't come when we called for the longest time but with Alex he came a running.
Anyways one day Red decided to climb a tree and couldn't get down. My mom and I didn't want Alex to get sad so we tried to get him down ourselves and my husband just claimed he would come down on his own. So we tried for 3 days to get him down with no luck. So we decided to let Alex try, he was about a year and a haft by then. So we took him out there to call Red and Red just sat there meowing. My mother and I finally just decided to let Alex try by himself, so we went inside and left Alex outside by himself, we were watching him by the window, and we weren't by any streets. With in 5 minutes of Alex playing out side by himself Red was down playing with him.
I still think it was just a protest to get Alex to play out side more. It worked and we spent more time out side together.
