I agree, there needs to be a "small animal" category under Pets! Unfortunately, I've looked all over the website and I can't find anything anywhere about it... I'd suggest throwing the idea out in the Forums, to get people talking about it and raise awareness about it. Hopefully that way somebody at Yahoo will realize the need for the category, and they'll add it!

I completely agree with you! So, I found out a way you can do just that! Okay, when you are on any page of Yahoo! Answers, just scroll all the way to the bottom. Then, where you see 'Help us improve Yahoo! Answers', click on 'Tell us what you think' (underlined). Then, explain what you have to say!
The more people that submit there comments about making RODENTS a category on Yahoo! Answers, the better of a chance it will actually happen! I have already done it and now, you guys should too!!
Good luck!!

Yes please, rodents deserve a catagory of their own. Funny, I asked the same thing in an earlier post this evening. Have I started something? :D
Although there is no such thing as a purebred rat.......yet, but those of us in the Fancy could certainly be working on it.
And there is only one breed of Fancy Rat with many types being bred into that breed, such as coat type, and ear-set.
Geez, then rabbits would need their own catagory as well because rabbits are not rodents.

There definitely needs to be a small pets category for all of those guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, and gerbils.
There's a reptile category, but nothing else!

I love pet rodents, rats are awsome lovable creatures!. We could use a rodent category here, Just not sure how to convince them to do it.

I don't think a "Rodents" category, but a "Small Animal" category would be *great*. Then it could include pets like ferrets, hamsters, mice, gerbils, rats, sugar gliders, and chinchillas.
Yes, we need a small animals category!

If enough people asked questions about rodents there would be a rodents category.

You have made a good point. The same can be said for rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, and hamsters. The need for a "rodents" section is long overdue.

In response to the first response, rabbits aren't rodents. So we'd need a lagamorph section as well.
