I think my female hamster is ready to mate, how do i know if she's pregnant? Does hamster get pregnant easily? Mine are dwarf hamsters, should I separate them after the birth of the babies?

usually you don't find out if they're pregnant until a few days before birth. one sign could be if she is making nests and hoarding food more than usual.separate after birth, the male can kill the babies.

We bought 2 dwarf hampsters, one of which was pregnant, and we didn't know it untl 4 babies popped out. We tried to separate them, but then ended up with 6 more babies about a month later. It's very hard to tell the sex of dwarf hampsters, try myhammie.com, they have pictures. Good luck!!

yes they easily get pragnant. you can inspect its belly it will be blowed up.
i have separate them because of struggles.they would injure each other.
