Yes I've had these grey with black stripes fishes and most of them ate themselves up? I'm like WTF? I gave the food and everything. I was sad, but now I have new ones. Are fishes that violent? Do i need to put a divider once I see something suspicious?

All things need water to live, do fish get it by drinking or when they obtain the oxygen in the water? (I think fish obtain oxygen from the water through the gills)

I had been feeding him Freeze Dried Bloodworms. I guess I overfed him because he died of that bladder disease. So how many of those dried strands should I feed a Beta on a daily basis ? Do you recommend a different kind of food ? If so, how often do you feed your Betta .. with which food ?? Thank you ! :)

How much would a basic aquarium cost, based on all of the chemicals needed to maintain the water and fish, food, filter, and a 20 gallon tank? How much are nice looking salt water fish? I know it will be exepensive, but just looking for a price range so I can get an idea.

*Is a 20 gallon tank small for a salt water aquarium, or would it be better to get a 30 gallon tank?

Thank you.

I have a blue betta named Lucky Louie, and he's been a joy for us.
He has a personality! I have some fresh leaves in there, and we've had him for 4 months. He loves swimming and hiding around them. Today I found him on top of one laying on his side
and not moving, dead like. I kept calling his name and he was dead for certain. I waited and waited and kept banging the tank, I was getting so sad--stupid huh? finally I decided to reach in and move the leaf and he fell off of it and started swimming like normal.
Do you think he wasnt' getting enough O2 and was going into failure because he was at the top of the bowl, almost sticking out!
Now I just checked him again and he's hiding behind another leaf,
could he be sick? What should I know about this behavior?

My mollies get such puffy bellies. I heard when they get puffy like that it's because their innards are swollen due to water retention and they're actually in pain. I don't want my little mollies to be suffering! How do I un-puffify my mollies? What am I doing wrong? And no, they're not pregnant. Some salt is already in the water.
