Probably not. They'll be too stressed from the lack of room and the poor water quality that will result from lack of filtration.

The goldfish you buy in a store for a dollar, the little ones like an inch long, are BABIES. Mature goldfish, able to reproduce, are very large, about a foot long or more. Unfortunately, because of people like you, and your pot ideas, very few babies surive to adulthood.

If you do your idea, most likey they're die after 1-4 days after being in a pot.

To do this the right way, do research. you'll find that reproducing goldfish requires large tanks (about 15 gals per fish) and special water conditions....

Go to the grocrie store and get some food, with their water you want to change it once a month but every week replace about 1/4 of the water with new that will help you from always having to change it.

A lot of people have trouble breeding them in a big nice tank and swanky set up...good luck!

Unless you put marbles in the bottom so that the eggs can fall down inbetween and thus be hidden from the adults after the female lays them, the goldfish will eat their own eggs.
