And hello! I mean I want a fish that is all of those, not just one! Give me the name of a fish you like that has ALL OF THOSE guidelines!

Clownfish aren't tropical, they're marine! And bettas shouldn't be in tanks with other fish a lot of times.... they may either be too aggressive or too shy. I'd suggest not saying "betta" again, or else I will be VERY VERY mad....

Killifish. Small, colorful, very hardy, good for beginners and go well in community tanks (just don't put them with something even slightly aggressive like a betta as they aren't fast swimmers)

Wrong about bettas, especially in a community tank with fish that size (the exception being fancy-tailed guppies - bettas don't always get along with the flashier ones, though I have my betta in with five of them).

Danios are the hardiest of all tropical fish. Grow to be about an inch and a half, don't need salt, tolerant of temp and pH changes, can be used to cycle tanks (but I still insist that using fish to cycle tanks is cruel and inhumane). Usually you can find them on sale at one of the chain stores for $.99 for the zebra danios, though I think the giant danios and the long-finned danios are the prettiest. They're also fairly easy to breed.

And I understand your frustration, however your threats of reporting people for giving you answers you simply don't like are unneccessary and unwarranted. You cannot report someone for something as simple as that if they are not the least bit threatening or using foul language. Threatening to report people for giving you a "wrong" answer is downright wrong in itself. There's no reason to be nasty when asking your questions - that's likely to turn people away. Simply ignore those who give you answers you don't like (which, I'm sure, mine will be one of them).

OK, Beta's are the best, except that they are generally not community fish--but here's a tip I got from the local pet shop. If you establish a community of fish--like neon tetra's--and then add the beta after they're established, then the beta is less likely to be agressive. If the beta is there first, and you add other fish later, the beta will probably eat them.

If you want something easy to take care of, I'd suggest a beta. They're about five dollars and you can buy them at walmart and most pet stores.

zebra danios( navy and yellow stripes, guppies(numerous colours), mollys (orange and black), platys. if you live in Calgary, I;ll give you some guppies for free.

Edit: by the way, you have a very rude attitude. we should report you, not give you polite answers. You really need to find a hobby to calm down.

Agree with you about the Bettas. How about Guppies? They are small, colourful, sociable and cheap.

I have Mollies and Platys in my tropical. They are all that you listed you want in a fish. The only downfall may be that they are livebreeders. http://animal-world.com/encyclo/fresh/livebearers/livebearers.htm

What size is your tank?

Small tank, get some type of tetra. Larger tank (30+gallons) get barbs or gourami.
