Okay, I know that I have heard and read about Bettas turning colors before, but that is when they were younger, and are just "deciding" the color they want to be...

My Betta, Mr. Clyde, I've had him for about a month or more? And he used to be a dark blue with red and green "highlights" in his fins and tail... However, I've noticed that his body is turning a pinkish purple color... Should I be concerned? Or is this perfectly normal like all the other incidents..?

He acts completly normal... he is EXTREMELY active and curious... he eats well, and everything since he's always been...

I have a 10 gallon, whisper filter, the ammonia is still a little high (about .25) but the nitrates and nitrites are at 0 (just tellin' you for extra info)

I was cleaning was aquarium this morning, and put my 2 small harlequins in a cup on my desk while I let the filter run. I just checked the cup, and they are no where in sight! It wasn't even that full, but I'm afraid they've jumped and are dried somewhere in my room. The problem is, I still can't find them!!

My Albino Catfish is going through, what Pet-Smart calls, pop-eye. Does any one know of anything else rather than pop-eye powder we can do to help it. Its eyes are bulging, head is red, swimming up-side down. Pet-Smart also says it can spread to other fish. We took it out of to a different container. Pet-Smart also said to give him air with a bubbler.

I really don't like fresh water plants because they leave a big mess on my fish tank and my parents don't want me to buy plants for my fish tank. So I went to a store and bought bamboo plants because they don't make a mess but I was still wondering if it was good to put them in my fish tank. I currently have gouramis,plecos,tetras,danios,1 catfish. Please help. Also if I buy a fresh water shrimp angel fish or frog will it get eaten by one of my fish?

Poor thing is hanging on. He's constantly at the top; though he's swimming better today than yesterday. I think he was somewhat sick before I changed water, but with water change I perhaps shocked him. I'm new to the care of goldfish. Should I purchase an antibiotic? He's quarantined. I really think there's hope for him. In general how do you care for goldfish? I don't want this to happen again. Thanks to all in advance.

We were given a tank but have never had fish before. We don't want to spend too much on the fish yet since we are just starting. Any suggestions?

I have a brand new betta, and he has been in his bowl a week. Do I change the water now, or do I have to wait longer the first time to let the good bacteria grow?
