Go to fishprofiles.com you should be able to find the fish species there, just look under freshwater , then catfish. Most all catfish do good with shrimp pellets, flake foods, and frozen foods like brineshrimp and blood worms. Depending on species of catfish will tell you what PH they prefer the water and if they are brackish and like aquarium salt added to the tank. Make sure that doing the above mentioned is ok for the fish you already have. good luck

without pics its hard to tell you, we have 2 large walking cat fish, most cat fish will eat meat they are carnivores, i suggest lance fish and raw prawns, you can get these from any pet shop, also blood worms, ours love them.

keep at a temp about 80 degrees farenheit.

if it does turn out to be walking catfish a tight lid on the tank, seriously at they can live just as well out of the tank, and do walk.

there is a fish forum that my husband used to be on, if you co on yahoo groups your see them under tropical fish forums, they have helped us, with questions.

hope this is of help to you,

best of luck let us know how you get on ok.
