Most baby fish will not eat right away. It could be that they are still surviving off their yolk, or if they're too old for that they could just be stressed from being seperated.

I feed my baby livebearers (platies, mollies, etc.) crushed up flake food, but also usually supplement it with liquid "fry food" which I know you can get at Petsmart (I work at one) and some other stores. There's also some new products out by Hakari I think, which are super small pellets made for small or baby fish.

Make sure not to over feed if they are in one of those plastic breeder traps or even if they are in a net seperater. Niether get as much filtration as they would if they were directly in the tank so the water quality can still be an issue. Other than that though, good luck :D They should be fine.

Are you sure they aren't eating? How long have you had them? I recently had swordtail fry and they eat flakes crushed quite small just fine. They are ravenous all the time. For the first couple days after they were born though, I couldn't tell if they were eating or not. It seemed that they weren't, but they must have been.

Normally "new fry" do not eat for two -three days. They are consuming their own yolk sack. As previously stated by someone else, crushed up flake food or frozen baby brine shrimp will also work.
