He has been puking 2-4 times a day for about four days. I'm really worried. Should I take him to a vet? Is there something I can do at home to help him? I don't know what to look up either (I'm only 13). So please give me tips or advice to help Bear!

Thank You!

I have puppies and they have fleas so I thought of spraying or bombing the house. But I have a christmas tree would that spray effect the tree? Can I just cover it? Or would it kill the tree? Or is there anyother ways to cure my flea infest house?

I have read many reviews on here regarding these amazing animals and have got extreamly angry with some of the answers and questions. If you like them happy days but if you don't could you please tell me why? Could you also list the qualifications you have assertained that make you an expert in this breed of dog. And please don't list me with the bull***t about the newspaper said this or the newspaper said that. You cannot just dislike something cause you've heard a bad story. Well actually you can but that also means that you are very very small minded. So please answer and don't forget the important bits, the qualifications that make you an expert. I take this subject very closly as I have three young children and two of these amazing, playful, respectful, child friendly, obediant and teritorial dogs.

I had to board my 2 year old english bulldog for a week, and I picked her up on Wednesday (today is Saturday). Since then, she has pretty much been asleep. When I picked her up, I noticed a green discharge from her eyes, and I took her to the vet. She was given a cream, which cleared it up pretty quickly.

The problem now is that she seems tired all the time. While awake, she doesn't seem lethargic or sick, but it's not long before she is lying down. Usually, she sleeps from 7pm to 9am, lounges around til noon, and acts like a bat out of he*l until 7. For example, yesterday she slept until about 9, stayed awake until 2:30, slept from 2:30 until 9, woke up for a half-hour, then slept until 9am. She's not showing changes today.
She's also been unbelievably flatulent, which may be a result of food she was given when what I provided ran out.

Should I be worried or was she just overly stressed and stimulated? THANKS!

I'm very excited that my yorkie-poo is going to give birth in about ten days, but i'm also a little worried. I just need some general tips about how they behave around the time that they give birth and things I can do to help her stay calm and make sure all goes well. What can i do to ensure that the puppies survive and what are signs that the puppies are sick or dying? I just want to get some information before she gives birth so i'll be prepared. Also, are their any good websites out there that can give me some information? Thanks for your help!

A co-worker told me that they put there dog to sleep because she was 10 years old. She was a German Shepherd dog. He said he didn't want an elderly dog. I think that sounds very cruel. I understand why people put terminally ill pets to sleep. But why put one down just because they are getting old? I havae a 7 year old GSD. I would never even consider putting him to sleep just because of his age. I would if he was terminally ill or suffering badly.

I guess this is not a question, just asking for some support.... I posted a question about this a couple of months ago.... My almost 16 yr old female dog just died. She was ill, since last year, but she had managed to be fine. Now this morning she just didn't wake up anymore, after having had a bad episode of seizures last mon-tue and then having lost her ability to walk properly. She was still eating, evacuating, etc.... but we knew this was coming. I know I should be grateful for her not suffering and just dying peacefully -- I know this isn't the case in most cases. But of course I feel sad and my mom is devastated. She was her everything, her only companion. She didn't want me to go to her place as she doesn't want me to see our dog like that -- she wants me to remember her as she used to be when she was healthy. She's burying her in our garden.

I'm sorry for the vent, I know many of you have gone through this.. I just can't seem to accept it now or stop crying :(

when my dog eats she gets her food out of her bowl like just a few pieces and lays them on the ground then eats them one at a time...like...its weird she gets her food out of her bowl to eat it and then she cleans up every crumb...we think she may be part coyote and shes a VERY intelligent dog...does anyone else's dog do this? i normally know A LOT about dogs but idk why she does this kind of behavior?

Today i noticed my dog, while urinating, peed out blood. She is a eight year old rottweiler, hound mix. She has been spayed. Could this be a possible bladder infection?

My aunt's dog is a 6-8 month old Chocolate Lab, I'm not 100% sure how old. Anyways, a couple months ago he had a severe eye problem and needed surgery. His eyes are fine now, but now he has Hip Dysplasia. The vets are reccomending surgery, but it is so expensive and my aunt does not want to put him through that again.

Is there anything else we can do to prevent surgery and still keep him happy and comfortable? He doesn't seem to be in pain, and walks around fine (with a slight limp) and can run a little, but we know it will affect him in the long run.

Any advice appriciated.
Thanks in advance.

we took a basset in 7 weeks ago.the owner said he worked in iraq and couldnt keep the dog any longer and his parents where moving too.when we got to the house the father met us and we chatted for a while things seemed ok so we said we would have him.as the dad put the lead on the dog(doodle)attacked him.i have always had a dog including rottweilers so put it down to fear as he knew something was going on.7 weeks later he has gone from growling to a full blown attack on my hubby last night which ripped flesh and drew blood.he wasnt provoked in anyway whatsoever besides playing.he usually is ok and growls so we stop but this was scary as it could of been hubby's face.last week he pulled me out of the door so i yanked his lead and he turned round, jumped up and bit the sleeve on my coat then my hand.he has bit me twice now but my feller on a number of occasions and its always cause he cant get his own way i.e. get him off the setee or chair or trying to steal food...please help someone...
