I have read many reviews on here regarding these amazing animals and have got extreamly angry with some of the answers and questions. If you like them happy days but if you don't could you please tell me why? Could you also list the qualifications you have assertained that make you an expert in this breed of dog. And please don't list me with the bull***t about the newspaper said this or the newspaper said that. You cannot just dislike something cause you've heard a bad story. Well actually you can but that also means that you are very very small minded. So please answer and don't forget the important bits, the qualifications that make you an expert. I take this subject very closly as I have three young children and two of these amazing, playful, respectful, child friendly, obediant and teritorial dogs.

I would just like to add a few notes on here regarding my situation. I have read all of the answers up to know and I appreciate all of them. Even if you don't like them I still respect your answer. And please don't consider this as a "hissy fit" its not. What encouraged me to ask this question is one that I read slamming these dogs. I have seen pictures on here of a man who was torn to shreads and killed by, guess what? A labrodor. Yes that cute little puppy on the toilet roll adverts. When ever I ask for your Qualifications what I mean is where did you get the cold hard facts that the singular "Rottweiler" is a "bad" dog. Any dog can attack. I have had this discussion with a vetenarian and he explained to me what makes the classic "bad dog" is dogs who suffer with (sorry about spelling) skidsofrienia. Rottweilers do not suffer from this so from an experts point of view they are not a bad dog, infact one of the best.

Its hard to find a dog cuter than a happy rottie.

My rottie mix (Sarge) is the sweetest dog Ive ever owned. He gets along great with children and animals-we have two kids, a goat and a cat (the cat doesnt care for him, but he just wants to cuddle up to her).

He barks at strangers but once theyve been allowed inside he loves them. He has his own chair-if you make the mistake of sitting in it he puts his front paws and head in your lap and just wants to be petted-scary, eh?

My 4 year old can walk our dog with no problems. The dog listens to him better than many adults since he knows the child is fragile. He is incredibly careful with the kids (though always under supervision.)
__

Ista: the reason we're so defensive is simply the way we and our animals are treated.
Ive had people run from him while he was on a leash in my yard, yell at me for having such a monster, threaten to call the police for allowing a child near such a beast, tell me theyll shoot him if he's on their property (he never leaves our yard unless he's in the car), and just otherwise act like jerks(including 1 death threat just for having the dog in the neighborhood). When have you even been threatened with legal or physical violence just for walking your dog who was behaving properly? Sarge has never acted in a threatening way to any of these people. He has been defensive in the past, but he's the type to warn then hide behind me so I can deal with the problem. It has nothing to do with popularity and everything to do with persecution. I dont care if you dont like my dog, but that doesnt give anyone the right to threaten me, him or my family.

I know there are bad rotties out there but Ive never met one that didnt have a bad owner.

You can find out more about natural hemorrhoids cure here http://curehemorrhoid.info
Diarrhea can contribute to hemorrhoid formation because the bowel undergoes pressure strains due to the condition. Undue pressure on the veins that make up internal hemorrhoidal structures can worsen existing damage. Internal hemorrhoids are not visible, unless they proplapse (protrude) from the anus, either constantly or during a bowel movement. If this is the case, then you have a grade III or IV internal hemorrhoid. If the protrusion is on the anal verge or the area surrounding the anus, then its likely an external hemorrhoid. Reducing pressure from issues of diarrhea and constipation will help. Not straining during a bowel movement, not lifting heavy objects, not sitting for extended periods, all will help.

An external hemorrhoid is simply a vein located at the anal verge, the wall of which as weakened and protruded. Don't push on it, this will only increase pressure and worsen it. The body has to repair the vein wall and rebuild the integrity. This takes time, perhaps weeks, if all goes well. Use sitz baths and over-the-counter medications such as pads or creams to provide symptom relief in the interim. These won't solve the issue long term, but will give the tissue a better chance at self-healing.

Internal hemorrhoids are a different matter and require more intervention. Your best bet is to educate yourself about the condition, its causes and what options there are to treat it both short and long term. Don't ignore it though, hemorrhoids tend to become chronic in nature, lasting years or decades in some cases.

I love rottweilers. They are a very loyal, gentle breed that has gained a bad name due to owners who have no knowledge of how to look after them.
I have never had one of my own, but have looked after a lot in my job, and have never met a nasty one yet. Any dog can snap or bite if provoked, unfortunately rottweilers have the weight behind them to do more damage than a smaller dog.
I wish people would realise what they were taking on before owning any dog.
I'm sure your dogs are wonderful with your children, and in turn your children will understand how to treat an animal properly and be respectful towards them.
I dont claim to be an expert, but I have worked in an animal shelter, and in a kennels, with many rottweilers. I also foster dogs for my local dog shelter.

I love them and have a 10 month old female rotty, who is very gentle and loving with all the family. Although tends to try and walk through things than around them, lol.
I think there can be a rogue of any breed of , but its usually down to inexperienced owners not being in control of their dogs.
Also big dogs make more of a mess than little dogs if they bite. People think for some reason it's funny when small dogs are aggressive, if they were of larger breed they'd be put down.

I had hemorrhoids problems for different years. I was basically simply excessively embarrassed to go to a doctor or to the pharmacy to request a hemorrhoid treatment. At last I went to a doctor that tried to do everything in her power to help me, yet unfortunately the prescription didn't work. Surgery was impossible! By then, I was powerless, embarrassed and with just about no social life, so I've chosen to try something else. Then I discovered this method: http://treathemorrhoid.kyma.info I purchased this book on the most proficient method to dispose of hemorrhoids naturally notice it helped me a great deal! I don't feel torment anymore! I wish I had it years before. I can't accept how rapidly I got relief (just about overnight!) they've never returned and I don't worry about it anymore in light of the fact that on the off chance that they do, I know precisely what to do. After reading the book and making a move in 48 hours the ache, irritation, tingling and draining was gone. To my surprise I could permanently cure my hemorrhoids 100% naturally. Hemorrhoids are fundamentally engorged veins. The veins return the blood to the heart and those from the lower parts of the body work against gravity to push blood again to the heart. At the point when the blood becomes thicker because of one's absence of water admission, the blood gets pooled in the veins in light of the fact that blood is more hard to stream. This makes them get engorged and become bigger. On the off chance that this happens in the rectal area, it becomes hemorrhoids. I can assure you that I tackled my hemorroids problems with this system: http://treathemorrhoid.kyma.info It's definitly the most ideal approach to effectively dispose of hemorreoids.

YES! You already know the score. You already know about the breed from reading you question. Are there mean ones sure, but did you know cockers are the number one bite dog. This comes from county records. I had a small dog killed by two rotties when we out for a walk she was on her leash. Having said all that and having to watch my dog get killed infront of me. I love the breed the ones that killed my dog were outside all the time. As you know if you take care of them they are the most lovyal friend you could have. But they are smart and will try to be in charge if you let them. But if you work with them treat them as a member of your family they will be the best member of your family. All living things need social training just look at people, how do I know all this . I have had dogs all my life worked with many trainers, and best of all own one, and I wouldnt trade him for anything in the world. He has had a issue with cats but he got over it, and now lives with seven of them. The most important thing is have him around your kids as much as possible. My rottie and all the rotties Ive known have bee the best kid and family dog you coild hope for! Best of luck

I don't have to be an expert in anything to decide if I like or dislike something.

I have no great fondness for any large breed. I'm a toy breed kinda gal! That's my personal preference. I don't understand this insecurity some of you large breed people display. Like it has to be your way or no way.

To be specific, I'm a chihuahua person. But I don't go around shoving my chihuahuas down peoples throats. I understand they aren't for everybody, and am actually quite pleased that some people don't like/wont' have them, as they obviously don't have the disposition to deal with the chihuahua's unique personality.

My reasons against large breeds? They eat too much, and make huge piles of poo. They also have the ability hurt someone, whether on purpose or merely by accident due to their size. Did I mention the size of their poo? They also don't fit comfortably in my lap, and would look quite silly stuffed into my stroller that I have for my little girl to run errands with me in.

Now, never have I tried to push my ideas on anybody, so it seems to me, you shouldn't either. If it pleases you to have large dogs that make large piles of poo and won't fit in your lap, that's your business, but I am getting tired of the Pitt people and the Rotty people having these fits because their dog isn't popular, and there are quite a few bad apples running around in their particular breed of choice.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, having this defensive rant isn't going to change anybody's feelings. If you want change, get together with your other rotty friends, and promote healthy non-aggressive rotts that are well behaved, well-bred, and well trained. The proof is in the pudding. Show the world a better dog, and the world will see a better dog. Throw a tanrum, and the world will see a child who's candy bar fell in the mud!
