He has been puking 2-4 times a day for about four days. I'm really worried. Should I take him to a vet? Is there something I can do at home to help him? I don't know what to look up either (I'm only 13). So please give me tips or advice to help Bear!

Thank You!

I would have taken him to the vet 2 days ago. Of course you need to find out what the problem is. You may end up paying for an emergency visit not, but that's what happens when you procrastinate.

Yes, you should take him to the vet. If it's too late for this weekend, you need to get fluids into him, as he's losing those when he throw up. I would put him on a diet of beef or chicken broth, about a cup every hour or so. Remember, this means he will need to potty more. Tonight, you may try a little cooked brown rice and hamburger meat, but only a little. If he throws that up later, do not feed him anymore but continue the broth.

Make an appointment ASAP, though, and let your parents know. That long of throwing up is not normal, and there could be something seriously wrong.

Taking it to the vet as soon as you can sounds like a good idea. Its possible that he just ate something bad. And be sure to tell your parents if you're going to give him medicine or anything.

I know how you feel, my cat got sick once, and there was nothing I could do. But he's better now. I hope Bear gets better soon!

Bear may have eaten something he wasn't supposed to or he may have some other problem. Is he still drinking water? If not, he could get very dehydrated. Talk to your parents and call your vet. They can probably tell you what to do for now, but I'm sure they will need to see him.

I would recommend calling your dog's vet, they may tell you to come in and get him checked out, and you can also ask for advice of what you can do for him. I hope he gets better!
