Dogs - December 2007

he is a 3 year old manchester terrier. he has never had any health problems except mange when he was a puppy. he just started dry heaving out of no where. he didnt eat anything when i noticed it started. he ate his dog food and a couple treats hours ago and has yet to vomit but still keeps dry heaving. i'm stuck at work now until the early moring. what can i do? what should i do?

I have a six month old Papillon who is still going to the bathroom in my house!!! I'm really getting fed up with it. He knows he's not supposed to do it, but when I let him out he stands at the door waiting to come back in then goes behind the dinning room table and takes a giant crap! HELP ME!!!

I have two 10 wk old Siberian Huskies who are pooping and peeing all over my house. They know that they get yelled at when they go in the house and we let them out for hours... they come inside go over by the coffee table, squat down and crap all over my house!! HELP... I do not hit or spank my dogs so how do I get them to GO OUTSIDE...?

she is walking(kind of stumbling) around the house slamming her face into the carpet and blankets and rubbing it around she wont open her mouth at all except to lick her nose every so often and is panting VERY VERY heavily its been going on for about 10 minutes now, if i call her name she'll come but she has trouble controlling her head or balance...Please Help

She is obsessed with this little green stuffed animal frog. It's about 3 inches in length, and she tosses it up in the air, and chews on it very lightly, as if not to hurt it or something. When I take it from here she can't stand it, she has to get it back and she'll do almost anything to get it back. The thing I don't understand is that she throws it down, and rolls on it.. rubs her back on it.. what does it mean when a dog does this? (She is fixed by the way, for over a year)

She just got her third one today and we also changed the vet. The first vet said after the 3rd set she can go out but the other vet said she has to have 4 sets to go out.

i have almost 2 week old puppies that i found a couple flea on them. the mom hasn't had her flea colar on because of having the babies. should i put it back on her and will it hurt the babies? when can i give them a bath?

i am a vet assistant, but still dont know everything. but here we go. my dog loves squeeky toys. well i wasnt home, but my mom gave him a toy. he chewed just about all of it up. there were some, and i mean SOME pieces left. but they were small. he even ate the squeeky part that makes the noise. what should i do. i kind of want to wait it out, and see if he is blocked or not. if he does start to throw up im def taking him to the e. vet. but what else is there to do. i've looked everywhere for the toy, so im 95% sure he ate it. he acts fine, like nothing happend. is there anything else to do?

2. Can i raise a good rottweiler with just love,care,attention and socialization WITHOUT going to puppy class or any training. I can give him all of his needs except training coz it's too expensive here in philippines.

I have a 7 year old male pug who for a year now has been drinking lots of water, very frenquently and then needs to go out to pee. Is this normal in older dogs the lack of being able to hold their pee. If we aren't home to let him out, he pees all over the bathroom floor. Other than this, he's healthy

I would like to add he is fully house broken since the age of 6 months.
