Well I dont know if she is purebred or not?
If you mean by looking at her I can tell she's German Shepherd then yes. She is about normal weight for a German Shepherd pup. I will say she will weigh about close to her mother's size maybe a little more.

P.S. She is a very pretty dog. :P

Your dog is beautiful, I mean a really nice Shepherd, and the dad is also......you have a huge dog, so start the training now, don't let her get too big before you do this, so she will not over power you and not want to listen..bet she hits close to 80-90 lbs, I have seen females this large, and they turn out so big and gorgeous

You chose a really nice puppy,,,,it looks like you know what you are doing......good luck

trust this breeder, when I say your dog is a pure bred German Shepherd.......

Merry Christmas

I am sorry but you can not tell by a picture how big your pup will be. You can guesstimate how large she will become by the size, weight and height of her parents.
The correct weight and height for a GSD is 70 to 90 pounds and 22 to 26 inches, the smaller weight and height is usually the females.

here is a chart with average weights of a GSD by month:
weight by month
weight male (in pounds)
1) 9.2
2) 19.9
3) 31.3
4) 41.8
5) 50.6
6) 57.4
7) 62.6
8) 66.4
9) 69.4
10) 72.0
11) 74.3
12) 76.0
weight female (in pounds)
1)7.2
2)16.6
3) 26.7
4) 36.2
5) 44.0
6) 50.1
7) 54.4
8) 57.5
9) 59.7
10) 61.5
11) 63.1
12) 64.2

I am not sure how big, since german shepards are pretty big dogs themself. But the average size is 24-26 in. The weight is 77-85 lbs. So, they will grow pretty nicely.

I'm going to make a guess. (which is stupid because there is no way to really know for sure...especially not by a pic)

I think she will be a little larger than her mother. She looks a lot like her mom but she looks like she has a slightly thicker frame (compare their legs for instance)

She is sooo cute! I think she'll be on the bigger side for a female.

We had a German Collie mix and he was about 60lbs, she looks like she'll be quite abit bigger, she is beautiful though. She does look pure, the pictures of the puppies remind me of my sisters chocolate labs, small wrinkly puppies :)

Your pup is cute!

I'd say as big as the momma, GSD's are a pretty good sized dog, ML-LG sized, maybe 70-80 lbs.

Good lookin' family!

LUCKY YOU!!!! You have a purebred german shepherd puppy and yes she's going to be a normal sized shepherd

She's going to be quite large - she'll probably weigh in around 100lbs when full grown. Good luck, and make sure you spend a LOT of time training her now, while she's small, because she's going to be stronger than you once she's grown!

Call your breeder and ask what she thinks. 30 lbs for 13 weeks is too big already for a standard GSD.
